Hi everyone. I was led here by the lovely Beth Makin. This is a great site!

I was planning our first family trip (I've been twice before, pre-children) in July 2013!!!!! Have quite a bit saved so far and everything planned...

Until I spoke to Beth and have decided now, that's way too long to wait, so I'm now looking to have a cheapy trip in October (24nd till 8th nov (ish)) so we're there for Halloween.

I've found VERY cheap accommodation (£212 for 2 adults and 2 children for 2 weeks!!!!! I was shocked!), so now I just need a very cheap flight.

Does anyone know a good site for extremely cheap flights? I'm talking under £400 for all of us return...? Even cheaper would be better. lol cool1

I'm going all out in 5 years time (due to their ages. They'll be 10 and nearly 8) so we'll be doing a dolphin swim, all the parks, all the dinners, disney hotel then universal hotel, 5 weeks, roomy seats on the plane etc, so for this trip I'm not bothered about all the extras, we just want to be there. :yay:

I was thinking of just buying tickets to parks at the gate, as 1) I don't know which parks we want to go yet and it'll be hard narrowing it down, I want to do them all! lol and 2) I'm not sure how mch spending money we'll have, so I just want the acommodation and flights and we'll save up for the rest.

Hope you can help, and I'm really enjoying having a look round the site. It's brilliant. :thumbsup2

Oh, almost forgot I'm Gem, 23, single mum to Cameron, 5 in July, and Alyssa, 2 1\2.

Isn't all exciting! I am sure that you've looked on Expedia for flights?

Hi everyone!

Yeah looked there, and about a hundred others! lol Starting to get a bit disheartened. :( I could afford £400 each I suppose, but then we'd have hardly any spending money.

I'll give it another week of looking, then probably take Beth's advice and hope for a cheap flight a month or so before I want to go.
