Hi! New from Atlanta!

Hey everyone! Just joined and thought I would get something posted here.

My name is Chris and I am 24 years old in Atlanta, GA and I'm actually just starting out in the zoo/aquarium/theme park industry. I recently started working for Zoo Atlanta in their Membership division and currently love my place of work, although I do hope to move up before too long (bills, bills, bills!)

I am currently dating my DGF of almost two years, Katy, who is an engineer for Delta Air Lines, so I can assure you that you're safe in the skies, because she's much smarter than me. We both have furry four-legged cat-children. Mine is Allie and hers is Puck. We both are also huge fans of all things Disney, though I'm probably slightly more crazed than she!

I love Atlanta, and being close to friends and family, but I daily dream of working for the Mouse. I would love to be involved in any aspect. So, uhm, any advice on that is always welcome!

DGF and I are also hoping to make the big jump and get married at some point in the future (if those pesky bills would cooperate) and have tossed around the idea of a Disney wedding, so any comments or suggestions in that department are welcome as well.

Basically, anything you wanna talk about from a Disney standpoint, you'll never find me too busy to do so!

Location - Atlanta, GA with hopes of the Orlando area one day

Age - 24

Characters - Tigger, Meeko, Chip/Dale, but I love 'em all!

Rides - The mountains (including Everest), POTC, Test Track, Soarin', Kilimanjaro Safaris, can you tell I'm indecisive!

Last visit - July 2007 POR

Next visit - Trying to plan a trip to take my immediate family down for a sort of WDW reunited trip now that my brother and I are grown. Also trying to plan a quick trip to get my best friend down there since he has never been. Regardless, not soon enough!

Can't wait to get to know everyone better and hopefully be a good contributor to the boards!

Gotcha. Nice area! My best friend grew up in Smyrna just a little south of you. I'm barely on the outskirts of Buckhead in the Howell Mill area.

Georgia gal here too! ne ga. hall county! love the disboards....so much info for our upcoming trip. seeing your name reminds me of a funny thing my dgs Blaze who is 3,said yesterday. we were talking about all the characters we'd see soon and he piped in with " Hey Nanna! Captain Hook & Captain Jack Sparrow have the same 1st name! CAPTAIN!" now how sweet is that....Hope you enjoy the dis as much as i do...will make my first trip to wdw, since i was 12 ,a blast!

Welcome, Capt. Tigger! I'm in GA, too, Jefferson in Jackson County (NE of Atlanta). Oooh, a Disney wedding would be WONDERFUL! We didn't have a Disney wedding, but we did have a super "Disneymoon" LOL way back when in 1989 when you were a little boy!
