yes it was...

it is now 12 noon their time and his (dad) fever subsided and so with the swelling so the antibiotic is working... the progress is slow but thank God it is going toward the right direction... thank you for all the prayers. I talked to mom and dad and with their blessing I am still going to take my aunt for her 1st trip to see the World for her 60th birthday, retirement and Mothers day surprise. And they will be sending text messages from time to time for updates. I wont be bringing my laptop whcih means I will be back Tuesday to chit chat with you peeps...

So Tara.....you've been home for a couple of days now....I think you have alot to tell us about your trip! DISmeets, EE, etc, etc......

I just completed a little trip report over on the Trip Reports Board. All I can say is that this trip was WONDERFUL. I told my family yesterday that I will only go to WDW alone from now on! Here are the DIS-ers I met up with - this is Phillytwins & me in MK - I'm trying to get her to pop in on this thread because she's from NE Philly - we met up twice & had a great time:

This is the DIS Meet with TEN of us! No one there is from the PA Thread except for me. I was the only PA-er there, Phillytwins flew home that afternoon & couldn't make it.

I enjoyed AK & Epcot the most. I met up with an elderly couple on the shuttle over to AK that I adopted for a few hours. They hadn't been to WDW since the 80's & had no clue how to navigate. It was nice to help them out, and they kept me company for the safari ride & the Pangani Forest trail. I RODE EE TWICE!!! There was zero wait in the single rider line so I did it. DO NOT look down on the ride up - you are so high up, and I'm terrified of heights. I felt a little sick after the 2nd ride but would definitely do it again. I saw Devine too - WOW. I had never sen her in person before so that was a highlight for me. She is so mysterious & graceful.

I have a ton of pics but I think I'd fill up the thread if I keep posting them! I don't know how to make them smaller - can anyone tell me?

I found your TR yesterday! That second meet looked like fun too! Some of you were dressed in the appropriate green color!! I did see that one guy in the back with the awful "Red Sox" shirt!! To a Yankees' fan, that's not dignified attire!!
Unfortunately, I don't know how to make pictures smaller either.

So when are you ready to go back??? I am now!!! Isn't that terrible? Just can't help myself!
