We just got home from a great day at the Reading Phillies game- we won !!
My company had their picnic there. We were up in the pool pavilion, and had a free buffet for 2 hours- food was awesome !!
Pool was 87, and the air wasn't windy where the pool is located !!

I'm sad that we missed Knoebels yesterday, but after Helene posting about the 1hr handstamp wait- I'm glad we didn't go. We also would have gotten there about noon'ish....
Glad you guys had a good day there- the weather was perfect !!

I'm not sure. We are going to HersheyPark next Saturday.
I think since we bought season passes to HersheyPark, we will be there
most of the summer. If Knoebels runs another special, we will head up there.

how much does the ticks for hershey park and knobels cost?? Last time was at HP was in 2002

with the price of gas and ding at SWA it was cheaper for me to go to MCO

You can spend as little or as much as you want at knoebels. You can pay a one time price or you can pay each ride with tix. Yesterday we spent 40$ in tix in 5 hrs with 3 kids. Also free parking, free admission.

Hey Knoebels also has cheaper meals and some great stuff too. I want to get up there again, but will have to see. DH and one DStepD doesn't like many rides. So going up to Knoebels is definitely the best option for us and we can spend time at the pool too, so the weather has to get warmer and stay warmer till we would possibly head up. DstepD went up to bloomsburg last weekend for a college tour, mixed reviews. time will tell.

my friend grad from bloom. She loved it. Its a good school! She is working at geisinger now doing medical research. I would tell you more about what she does but since I have kids she doesn't talk to me anymore. I miss her. I've known her since I was born but that's a whole other subject!

Hi Guys - I have been MIA for a while again - once I get started on the boards, I can't stop, but once I am away, I have trouble getting back to it. There has been a lot going on lately. Hope all is well with everyone. I was trying to read back and catch up, but figured, I would be too tired to write by then, so I'll catch up eventually.

Hey Tiggerfan, my DD went to Bloomsburg. She LOVE it (a little too much) - the problem was she was having so much fun, she sorta forgot to go to class a little too much. I pulled her out (much to her regret) and she is currently at CCP (Coummunity College of Philadelphia) and really wants to return to Bloom - if she does, it won't be on my dollar, tho'!!! I thought she might have trouble adjusting to a "small town" after being a Philly girl her whole life, but she loved it if that helps any.

Anyone looking at the deal they are running for fall? I know you people with kids might not be able to go then, but it is almost too good to pass up. I had no intention of taking another trip this year, but this deal is really making me think long and hard about it!!! Waiting for "Dreams" to get back to me with pricing.
