Yes they closed, but there are places in Berks County that you can still buy Leiby's ice cream. Jen & Jess's on 73, One on 222 heading towards Allentown across from Super Duper, the name is escaping me and some dairies. Try doing a google search for Leiby's ice cream and your might find places near you that carry it. I used to love to eat at Leiby's too. There is one place I never left without dessert, usually teaberry ice cream. Did you ever try teaberry gum. It is hard to find, but occasionally you can still find it. The peanut shop on 61 has it sometimes.

There's also a new coffee shop in Emmaus (in the strip mall across from Weis) that carries it as well. I LOVE Leiby's mint choc chip.

LOL!!! Sorry... the latter part of 2007 was crazy... with the surgery and the break up of my tribe.. it was to much to stay perky and did not want to drag everybody with me... But yes ma'am!!! I am back to bug everybody.. And also is looking for a weekend date in the future for a King of Prussia Dis meet... so if anybody have a suggestion throw it in!!!

So far things are turning up well for me.. recovery is great and I am starting a new job on the 19th which is a much closer place than where I am at now. am saving 2 hour 30 minutes of driving time which means more Dis time for Timmy

A Dis Meet at Knoebel's would be great. I had to laugh at Princess Always remark about directions. We love her, and help her out. I don't think April will work for me either, but perhaps we could get a time later in the year. I am jealous of all of you getting to Disney next month. I have to wait until November, but it will be fun.

Hi all! Ants can you add me to the list? I will be there April 19-30th. We are staying at a home we rented from a man that lives in Frackville. We are staying there the 19-26th. We are then moving on site but haven't decided were yet.

TaraPA, I know the Vascavages, they live around the corner from me. The sons name is Scott. My mom and Arlene Vascavage were class advisors for my sisters class years ago. How do you know them?

Haven't been real active on this board but I'm in Harrisburg PA close enough to do a Knobles Meet or a King of Prussia meet. However, I can't do the 26th of April for the Knobles meet as that is the day we leave for WDW. I'll be in Dis from April 26- May 3. See I miss the Dis meet there also. April 24th is my B-day.

OMG teaberry ice cream! The only place I've ever seen that is in central PA. My grandparents always got that as hard ice cream, or as custard if they could find it. What is that brand they used to have - Big Top? Carnival? I can see the box of teaberry ice cream that was always in their freezer. Maybe it was Weis brand, it had carnival-type pictures on the box. Anyone remember that? My mom & brother still get hard teaberry ice cream when we travel up that way. Wow what I wouldn't give to watch my grandparents eating a bowl of teaberry ice cream right now. If there's teaberry ice cream in Heaven they've found it for sure!

In the wonderful lewistown valley there is a great mini golf place called Heislers dairy bar, they are about 1 mile from Rosemount camping resort in the country side. This is just outside of Tamaqua. They sell teaberry icecream. I personally don't care for teaberry, but I know it is a BIG seller out there.

Scott went to college at Del Val with my DH. There were 3 roomates off campus, (DH & 2 others) and Scott was like the 4th wheel because he was always with them, but lived on campus. Haven't seen him since they graduated Del Val in '92! I have lots of stories I could share but this is a family board!!
