Hi i'm from P.A.!!!!
Hi everyone from P.A I am from San Diego and will be out your way on Friday...can you tell me how cold it has been and will 2 heavy sweat shirts and a long sleeve shirt under neath them so will that be warm enough??????

WE will have gloves and will be spraying his outside sweatshirt with a waterproof spray ( it works great).....the weather here today was around 80 so we of course don't have much cloths for your weather so am trying to not spend to much for only 6 days. We are coming there for 3 and Washington for 3 days for a school field trip.

So what say you...will we be okay...:confused3
what part of PA will you be coming to? I am in the Pocono Mtns and it is supposed to be 51 degrees on Fri, 49 on Sat and 39 on Sunday.

Here's the forecast for the middle eastern part of the state:

THURSDAY HIGH: 49 LOW: 38
Mostly cloudy
FRIDAY HIGH: 54 LOW: 39
Rather cloudy, rain possible
SATURDAY HIGH: 44 LOW: 36
Mostly cloudy and colder
SUNDAY HIGH: 42 LOW: 26
Clouds break for sun; windy
MONDAY HIGH: 45 LOW: 32

If you're going to be outside at night you will need more than sweatshirts, especially if you're not used to this kind of weather. The wind on Sunday is going to make it feel much colder than 42. Make sure you have something to cover your ears - a hood, hat or ear muffs. Where are you going to be? If you're up in the Poconos it will be even colder.

Tara Have a great time solo!! I'm too chicken to do Disney solo! We went in May last year and had a great time!! We just got stuck with gays days, flower fev. and star wars in the ONE week we were there. We really had to watch what parks we went to(because of crowds I have nothing wrong with gays days. We met some nice ppl there last year!) , that's why I wanted to go earlier this year... too bad it didn't work out that way :( Dh is checking with work tonight to find out what days are okay to take off in May tonight, hopefully I'll be able to get some dates soon. I just need to go before June 24 when my lil guy turns 3. I dont wanna pay for him

Hedy Tara! We are doing a 4 day cruise, but we will be at the AKL 4/24-4/27 and then back at the cabins 5/1-5/3 ? I think those are the days:confused3 Where is everyone else going to be??

I also have thermal pants to go under my pants/sweats.

We will be outside most likely only at Gettysburg but when we get to Washington DC we will be outside much more. I will have a back pack to carry a flannel shirts and extra warn stuff just in case.

Nice day here again today.....about 80 degrees.....we go to the mountains for our snow that is about a 45 minute drive from us but only when it is raining and cold does it snow there...we have had about 8 snow days up there so far. But we have our snow boots and snow suits/ski outfits that we were for that mmmmmm they keep us so warm. But to big and bulky to bring with us :)

So how is the weather in Philly and GB ?????? and by the way thanks for all your help in tying to keep us warm :thumbsup2

Hi all, how is everyone? Just got back from a seeing the big guy. The family and I were there from 2-29 thru 3-8. Hit the Pirate and Princess party. It poured. We had to leave after a little more that 2 hours. It was fun while it lasted and the parade was great, even in the rain. I did not miss all this ugly weather here, and I miss wereing my flip flops everyday. Could use a little warm weather here in Shenandoah. lol:rotfl: Talk to you all later. Terri

I just used that link to chek waht the temp will be in all the places we will be and it says showers almost the whole time :rotfl2: that stinks( nice way to put it)...when it says showers is it like all day thing or heavy at times and stops...here we get showers and it rains all day lightly or heavy...but all day...how about there?????

it all depends... the other day it was coming down at a rate of 1" an hour. Sometimes it is just crappy all day. Spring in Pa sucks to be honest. One day could be 80 the next could have 2 feet of snow and yes I've seen this happen.

The snow is fine with me it is the rain that that is messy...at least untioll the snow turns to mush and gets all dirty...yuck. I am from N'J and remeber the cold and the snow and the rain but it has been so long. It's hard to recall when I am so use to great SD weather...

Hi Madisonsmom926! My grandparents live in Catawissa and I used to work at Knoebels, but I haven't been to Selinsgrove in probably 20 years. I'm sure it's changed alot since then.

OMG they still do that with tickets??!?!?!?!?!?!

Hello Shenendoah...Helene - you're probably closest to Shenendoah out of any of us!

Yes they definitely do tickets, and it is great when you have some family members who don't like many rides. You don't want to spend the money. Also you can have family over swimming in the pool and the ones who enjoy rides can go over and ride some rides with tickets. I think it also is reasonable to eat there and good food too. I love the Phoenix. We were supposed to get up last year, but Dstepdaughters were being ornary. Their loss.

Uh yes I grew up in Shenandoah, actually not "in" shenandoah but one of the patches right outside. SV '96 ;)

We use tix about 99% of the time, usually its just the kids on the rides. No point of me and dh getting 30$ handstamps for 2 or 3 rides we do with the kids, the trains, carousel, cosmotron, tilt a whirl, sploosh, log ride, okay its more than 2 or 3 but still wont add up to 30 something dollars :thumbsup2 We usually go every weekend... I can't wait for yummy food again!
