Hey I see we're at 1500 posts....isn't it 2500 when we need to re-thread? 1000 more to go....:rolleyes1

Hey, I just booked our hotel for when we go in November. We will be staying at Fort Wilderness in one of the cabins. This way we could have all five of us together and not have the higher price as the deluxe resorts are. With my son booking it for us it will be 124.00 for each of us, which is great. Has anyone stayed at Fort Wilderness in the cabins?

WOW 124 for the cabins?? that sounds like a great price! I hope you enjoy it! Please let me know! Our family is going to be too big for almost every other room in Disney

We stayed there once a few years ago, we had a good time:goodvibes They had campfires at night (we did not get to go) with singing and other activites. The buses are kinda funny...there is an internal one you take to get to the actual bus stops. They also have horse back riding there, grills outside on the deck, and you can take a ferry to MK. We are going to stay here in April, 2008. The Hop-dee-do (sp) is also right there.

I hope to stay in a Fort Wilderness Cabin someday. I love campfires and camping. My BIL staying in an RV there in '06 and they enjoyed it.

Hey just a brief note, the price of 124 per person (five of us) was generated by DS who is a Disney employee and gets a discount for us. It would have been 9 hundred something without his discount. I actually misquoted the price pp is 121. It is a wonderful help having a son employed by Disney.:flower3:

Love the Hoop De Doo Review Show. I have done it twice, won't be doing it this time. thanks for the info about the bus stops. Do you need to go out to those any earlier to get to the main buses?

tiggerfan4me - that's great that you have your resort booked. Congrats! I've never stayed at FW cabins but they sure look great!

ROFL yep the little buggers are still in me! During today's x-ray she said they were all clumped together on the left side of me. I asked if that was normal & she said "I don't know, but there's safety in numbers!" Too funny! It wasn't funny though that I had a 10am appt. & waited in line 30 min. just to register, then another hour after that. It was standing room only in the Radiology Dept. and it wasn't pleasant. It seemed like everyone around me was sick & hacking up a lung. Ugh.

How are you feeling?

lol the at the safety in numbers! that's pretty cute! I hope its good they are all together too.

as for me... well I feel like crap, I can NOT function most of the day not because I feel sick, but because I have NOOOO energy, NONE ZIP ZEROOO which is not good with kids to take care of. I'm thinking about pushing disney back another month because of it.. its like a chore to go get a shower, I can NOT do disney like this. I'd crash on the bus on the way to the park. I'll only be 12 weeks when we go, I know last time I didn't feel better til after 14wks. I dont know what to do. I'm happy I'm pregnant, but gosh this is why I didn't want to be pregnant before disney!! :( I just feel awful. Thanks for asking lol

i sure hope you start to feel better. I was very fortunate with my pregnancies that I never got sick. Just swollen feet and lightheaded. Tara hope you also feel better and that you don't have to light up for long. Take care both of you.

All done with the Colon Transit Study! Next week blood work & then a colonoscopy in April. Fun fun! I've spent a fortune on Kashi things this week. I must admit the chewy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are very good, as are the chewy granola bars! With all these tests I'm having, I'm much more worried about my dad. He thought he threw his back out last week, and when he went in for testing for that, they found suspicious spots around his spine & pelvis. So yesterday & today he had a PSA prostate test, a Cat Scan & an MRI to check for cancer. Ugh! :sad2:

Tara, I hope everything turns out OK with your tests, and your Dad's. I'll be thinking about you two.

Yes I would leave with plenty of time to spare because they run like the other buses (not as long), they make a loop around the cabins and you get off and then wait like regular for the park buses.

thanks for the info. We are all looking forward to doing this and staying there. It should be fun. Hope you aren't having too much rain. We had a break and now it it is raining again.

Tara, thoughts & prayers are with you & your dad!!!

Thanks guys! Don't worry about me, my tests are just routine. And literally, a pain in the butt!

So DH got his hotel assignment for the ASUG/Sapphire software conference in Disney 5/4-7. It's the Springhill Suites Orlando Convention Center which IS an Official Walt Disney World® Good Neighbor hotel. They have a free scheduled shuttle to the theme parks. That word scheduled makes me nervous. So I could fly & stay free, I'd just need park tickets. VERY tempting. My plan would be to leave the kiddos at home with my parents. I think I'd have major guilt for doing that though! Too bad Linda, that it's not the same time that you are going, so I'd have someone to hang out with!

WOW did it ever rain, and now the wind is terrible! I seen my lids of my garbage cans go flying by the kitchen window. It was clear earlier, so I don't know what's going on....hopefully tomorrow will be better:thumbsup2
