ok, ok.....I'm officially excited! If you've followed my "Disney history", you know my Christmas trip was bittersweet. My brother hurt his back, ending up in the hospital instead of meeting up in Disney. He & his family had to cancel. Well, as of tonight, we're going back....thanks to one of his conferences....in April for a short trip! Just us "grownups"!!! Anyone going to be there April 23-27???? We'll be staying at Coronado Springs. Haven't seen him or my DSIL since September--can't wait!

ok, ok.....I'm officially excited! If you've followed my "Disney history", you know my Christmas trip was bittersweet. My brother hurt his back, ending up in the hospital instead of meeting up in Disney. He & his family had to cancel. Well, as of tonight, we're going back....thanks to one of his conferences....in April for a short trip! Just us "grownups"!!! Anyone going to be there April 23-27???? We'll be staying at Coronado Springs. Haven't seen him or my DSIL since September--can't wait!

Linda I'm soooo jealous!! Good for you! DH has a conference May 4-7 but they haven't told them where they're staying yet. Sometimes it's offsite, sometimes Universal. I only go if he's onsite or S/D. You must be so excited - counting down the days!

Hi - Your DH has my sympathy!!! We are from Philly, but my DS went to school in Pittsburgh - he was almost killed during football season for rooting for the Eagles!!!!!!!! We went to a Pirates/Phillies game and it was good to see a lot of Phillies fans - but of course, we were still outnumbered.

Hope the weather isn't too bad tomorrow - I dread the commute into the city. I live within the city (Philly) limits - but as far as you can get and still be a resident. It isn't pretty if the weather is bad. Everyone be careful tomorrow.

You are right about that.In fact, my mom just said it has been two weeks since they were down to WDW. Where does the time go. The pavements and our driveway are icy. DH fell not realizing it was icy earlier so we know put salt down. Stay warm. Have a good evening.

The sun is out and the snow is melting. Since it is Saturday and I don't have to drive in it, I am sorry to see it go. I am searching the net looking for good travel deals.
We have finally decided (after much discussion) where to go to celebrate my 60th. We are going back to Sedona & the grand canyon. & since we are no longer smokers we will be staying at a hotel on the South Rim. SO I have 3 trips to look forward to in 2008
May 1 - 5 Pin Event and trading with my 2 nephews
Last 2 weeks of August - Sedona & Grand Canyon (birthday trip)
Beginning of December - AKV Concierge one Bedroom (birthday trip)
you see I get two birthday trips. One for DH & one for me. Guess which one I am most looking forward to.

Thanks Fern! However, my nieces are not going to be along for this trip. It's actually a conference for my brother. Poor thing will have to attend meetings. That means time with my DSIL. We love it since we live so far apart & don't get the time we should to be together! Soooooooo we're just going to "act" like kids! Won't be too hard!!!

Hey gang! I blinked & missed Fern on here again. Hi Fern! Penny - what fun trips coming up - good for you! We're off to the Bahamas Out Islands in 3 weeks but after that no Disney trips planned.....but I usually manage to scrounge all of DH's frequent flyer miles & hotel points together by mid-year to come up with some Disney thing! He has a conference there in early May so I'm holding out for that, to see which resort or hotel they're putting him up in. If he's onsite or S/D I'm so there!

Linda-did you ever find a TS rep in your area? The new Spring Summer things are out & WOW I'm excited. Everything looks great. You should try & find someone out there to see the stuff.

Funny you should mention TS. Long story short....turns out my former neighbor's daughter now sells TS. I just got a postcard from her. Small world! Perhaps I'll have to try another party.
