Hi i'm from P.A.!!!!

PAM - OMG - you weren't kidding when you said that ****** Transportation was banned from the DIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually thought you were joking. I just replied to someone on the Transportation Board asking for references & it comes up all asterisks (like above) - what really went down with that thread?!?!?!? Is there still a link to it?

The link is gone...Poof! From what I can ascertain the moderator decided that enough was enough about the virtues of you-know-who. The thread got ugly with two other Dis'ers that also have car companies and Bob. From what I can figure out, someone came to a conclusion that car co owners adn employees were posting reviews for themselves. Whatever. There seems to be a lot of people up in arms about the disappearance. Maybe the board sponsor should think about the service he gives when a Dis'er books with him. I have seen more than one bad review, even just involving not returning a call or a late pickup.

Doesn't matter much to me, since I know who to call.......Ghostbusters :rotfl: :rotfl:

I FINALLY got to the Disney store in Lancaster today.:lovestruc Some good sales there today but NOT at Park City.:confused3 Glad I went to Rockvale first!

I've been wondering does the disney outlets have the same thing as the disney outlets in Orlando?? anyone know? I'd rather run down to Hershey before the trip and shop than run around orlando on my vacation ;)

My Niece works there, I've never been, but I've wondered how the slopes were.

Icey! :rotfl:

No, it's actually great for locals and beginners. I learned there, taught my kids there. Am thankful to have a ski area so close to home.

I just think they have a harder time maintaining good conditions with the warm winters we have anymore. As a result, their prices tend to be a bit higher.

Their big thing now is the beautiful resort and conference center that is bringing in a lot of non-skiers for different things.

Hey MY niece works there too, as a ski instructor! I went there years ago when it was still Doe Mountain & liked it. Not as big & overwhelming as some of the Pocono resorts (in my opinion). My parents enjoy eating in the restaraunt there.

I haven't made it there yet...Is it worth a 45 min. drive???

There is supposed to be one opening in the spring in the new outlet center off of 422 in Sanatoga, too!

Do the disney stores in Lancaster, Rockvale, etc. sell any adult things or only children things. Our Disney Store at Berkshire Mall doesn't have much in the way of adult clothing or shirts anymore, and I don't have little ones to shop for any more.:shamrock:

Hey Fern! Lucky you, having a DH that enjoys Disney. Maybe someday....

nah, I'd rather go with the kids or the girls!

:rotfl: :rotfl: Yeah, me too!!
Also, you're quite welcome regarding my reply on the "ATV" thread. It was true!

I will be dumping my coat when I leave for WDW on Thursday. Sadly, I am going with cheerleaders and, personally I have NO problem yelling at someone else's kid, or even adults for that matter. I am making it my personal mission to point out smoking areas on the park. I "nicely" helped a guest who thought the doorway to the ladies room was a smoking area. I "gladly" pointed the actual smoking area on the park map to him. I even gave him my map. Aren't I nice. He was very appreciative. :rotfl:

Pam, good luck with your "cheerleader" trip! How many girls & parents will be going? What's the number of nights you'll be there? Is this the first time you've done this? That is a big undertaking for any parent going along.

:thumbsup2

I wouldn't go there just for the Disney outlet (i'm 45 minutes away too). I was going to the outlets and to lunch with a friend.

They did have some adult things but not really worth the trip. A few T-shirts in mens and a very few womans (couldn' t find anything in L, or XL most of the XS and a few in S that I liked). The sale T shirts were $2.50 in Adults and childrens. A bunch of kids sale clothes (I got one DD 2 outfits, 4 pieces for $17 total).

P.S. They also had a bunch of regular priced stuff there like the Disney Store. Both stores only had a Few Adult things. It seems to go in rounds at DS, IMO.

well thanks for the info about the Disney outlets at Rockvale. I don't get up that way too often, but when I do I might just check it out. Thanks again.

Pam - Bon Voyage!!! Good luck with all those cheerleaders over the weekend!!!:cheer2:

Well, I am off to PHL for my 8:30 am flight to WDW. The cheerleaders and the rest of the parents don't arrive till 11 pm tonight :scared1:
It's 13 cheerleaders and I think each one has at least one parent going.
I'll be seeing Tracy this morning as she is leaving from PHL to go to Disneyland for "work" (poor thing)
See ya'll when I get back.:cheer2: :cheer2:

Well it wasn't tonight...I stopped in but the girl said you left already:sad2:

Oh no! Sorry, I just got my schedule for Feb. yesterday - the night's I'm on are Wed. 2/13 & Wed. 2/27. And a few Sat. nights too. I hope you didn't run all the way down there just for that!

No, we come down there every Wed. after dropping of DS (9) at the Banana Factory. We have something to eat and then browse around, so I will see you one of those days:woohoo:

Pam, In know you won't see this till you get back but hope it goes well. Rather you than me with all the girls. Princess Always and I have sons. How is everyone else doing? Today at work couldn't get over soon enough. One of those days. Have a good weekend.:flower3:
