haha good luck with that Lehigh Valley Mall? I love the outdoor shops, but I don't know whose grand idea it was to knock out a bunch of parking to get the job done. I propose a parking deck!

Yeah, the outdoor shops aren't even set up in a very pedestrian friendly way. I had to walk across the parking lot with my toddler to get from the end by Cold Stone Creamery to the other side. Not fun . Thankfully I only had to go to Old Navy so I could avoid the whole mall mess. I am really keeping my fingers crossed that I don't need to go shopping up there for another 6 months or so, the traffic is just such a nightmare.

Welcome! I'm also from Whitehall (Fullerton). We just got back from the Mouse last night, the weather was GREAT!! Did anyone else go to see the new Animal Kingdom Villas? WOW!

Hey Dopeymama, were you traveling with your DH last week? I ran in to a man from Whitehall at the Margarita stand at Downtown Disney on Friday night. There seemed to be a lot of PA'ers. Ran into people from Reading too.

I had a ball, despite being with my DMIL . The weater was AWESOME. It was the first time in a long time that I didn't need my poncho once. Downside was that 2 pieces of luggage were MIA upon arrival in Orlando. They were delivered to CBR later in the evening, so not so bad.

Looking forward to going back with my friend in Feburary for cheerleading. I will do my best to keep them under control. And if I can't, I will be far, far away from them.

Pam - Roger & Bob were AWESOME from Sunray, you tell them that next time you go in to work!!!! I will only use Sunray from now on. Definitely. I even double tipped & didn't care, they were that good.

Jessamy - hey did you ditch The Promenade?? It was slow today, everyone must have been up at the mall. When I went up to open the new Yankee in the outdoor shops at LVM I was counting the hours til I could get back "home" to The Promenade. Parking is a nightmare up at the LVM. It's not great at The Promenade either but it never seems to be terrible.

Good sales at Yankee right now - certain gift sets were marked down, and all tart burners are 50% off....you can add on an electric plug in for $6 with any $25 purchase - AND there are lots of coupons out there (I can give them to you if you come in).

Nationals for the Universal Cheerleading Assoc are Feb 8-9. If you want more info about if/when cheerleaders are going to be in WDW, check
varsity.com. Frankly, I don't think I have ever been in Disney when there weren't cheerleaders there.

we here in berks county were spared. Just a lot of rain. For us they are saying later evening Sat. I pray for that as our church as a special cantata that we present that night. Hope the rest of you faired okay with the winter mix.

Ugh, I'm so sorry. DH's mountain bike club has a Christmas party at Penn Skate tonight so we'll be headed up there again. He asked where I wanted to stop and eat on the way there and I said no where near the mall because I'm sure they'll all be even more packed than usual. Hopefully Charlie Brown's won't be too busy.

Hi Tara, I'm glad you had a good trip to WDW (minus the landing on the way back ). I haven't totally ditched the Promenade, it's just been too cold to meet DH there for lunch with our wet hair after swimming. We were actually at Fresh Market Wednesday to pick up candy to decorate our gingerbread train, but couldn't stay to walk around. I've just got so much Christmas stuff to do yet and I can't seem to make much headway with it. If the weather is OK and we have the time, we'll try to stop by next Wed after class. Hopefully we don't get too much snow this weekend .

We went to Candylane a few years ago and it was terrible, we stayed at the lodge and that wasn't any better! We had heard so many good things about it, but we did not enjoy it so I thought it was just us. I even wrote a letter to complain and I never received a response at all. We did end up at the Rockvale Outlets and that was pretty good.
