We leave in ....4 days!! I have been totally packed since Sunday and my husband hasn't even looked at his suitcase. I'm ready to start packing for him! I am getting kind of sad that is it getting so close because I know that it will be over way to quick and then it will be awhile until we plan the next Disney trip. I'm sad before it even starts

Oh....my suitcase is out, somethings are in there, but not really packed yet! I know what I'm taking, just haven't gotten things in that suitcase. I MUST get started!!

I know what you mean about the vacation going by so fast. That's why we always "need" to go back!! hmmm....DISmeet in the fall????

The Wino meet got changed to one of the ladies homes who went on the last trip. Now, if you can stay out a bit longer and not rush home, you and anyone else interested is more than welcome to come. Andrea and I will be heading to J Jill around 6, and heading over to her house for 7pm. We can meet you somewhere in the Promonade and go from there. Actually, Pam, we can meet you there and you can follow us to Jeneanes house.

OMG - it is so close now. I have been getting my stuff ready for 2 weeks, but I keep changing my mind. I could stay for a month with as much stuff as I bring (don't I WISH).
I am too full of turkey to pack now, so tomorrow I am off to get my nails done and run some last minute errands (bank, drug store, etc.) pack and then ATTEMPT to get to sleep at a reasonable hour (gotta love those Advil P.M.'s........lol).
Tara, I will see if they have any pins for that price, if not, oh well.

I still have 7 days & counting! Fern - I am taking a carryon - that's it - I hate lugging all that stuff around & refuse to check my luggage - so if you see me in the same thing every day that's why! (I do laundry one night while there).

Tracy - I have plans for Saturday night but be sure to post the details! I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow - everything is hitting the fan over there - one of our managers is being fired tomorrow & she has no idea it's coming. I feel bad & there will be drama for sure - so steer clear around 9:30! Also our door buster promo merchandise is lost in shipping. The carrier claims it's just missing - 45 cases of product & no one knows where it is. So no great deals at Yankee! Also we use tons & tons of tissue to wrap the jars in - there was a mix up with the order & we are out - so there will be lots of clanking glass in bags over the weekend!

You would have thought I would have learned the art of packing lightly, but no, I have not I like to have CHOICES and it will be cool at nights, so that means a sweater or something for every outfit. My husband has given up trying to reason with me. If you are in the same thing every day, I won't have any trouble recognizing you, will I??!!??

Ok, I'm turning in for the night. Good luck at work tomorrow - glad my office is closed. Don't miss those days in retail on Black Friday, that's for sure.

MickeyMaz, thanks so much for the pics!! They're beautiful! Makes it even harder to keep my mind on things I have to do today--like decorating, packing. I'm trying to get "all" my decorations up (including my little Disney tree) before I leave so I don't have to worry about doing it when I get back!

I just got back from WDW. My DD5 started Pin Trading. I bought a lot on ebay - about $2 a pin. She got hooked. I did stay away from the Sedesma - not sure if it would have mattered. Cast members were always happy to trade with her - never refused and took any pin she gave them without looking at the backs.

One CM gave us a tip: Look for pins with a hidden mickey. These are limited editions.

I bought her a lanyard - this way she took it off for the rides. They do get heavy. Becarefull of the backs. We had some fall off as we were walking.

We got a bunch of pins as well on eBay - but want to keep most of them! We have a few to trade & DS has been saving his allowance to buy a few new ones once we're there. Glad you guys had fun doing it. Did you stick to a theme or did you just see ones you liked & traded?

They do sell black Mickey Heads that are like a rubber material, they really hold the pins in place!

To everyone leaving soon, Have a great trip! We leave on the 6th. Is anyone flying on Allegiant Air? We are for the 1st time.
