Hi everyone. Deb here from Berks County. I haven't been on for awhile as we had my stepdaughters stay with us for a month while their mother was in the hospital having a baby. She had some complications and that is why she was in a month. I didn't get much time on the computer with two teenage girls here. My coworker and friend Princess Always told me about someone proposing to go to Florida next year for the Wine tasting time. Can someone fill me in on the possible details and thoughts. It might be something I would be up for. I know Princess Always is contemplating it. My son works in Disney and won't get home this year, and not sure about next year. I saw him last in June when we were down to get married, and it would be a good chance to have some quality girl time and see my son too.

Hi Deb! I remember you from being on here before. I'm the one meeting Princess Always & Once Upon A Dream in 2 weeks! I'm also the one contemplating doing the girls only F&W trip - I think Pam & Tracy (schatz5k) are actually planning that trip for early October. They were at my work the other day trying to convince me to take my 6-day park hopper for the trip in 2 weeks & upgrade it to an AP for their trip. It IS tempting. But now I see that since I've decided to start pin trading that will eat up all my extra cash! Hopefully DH will stay at a lot of Hiltons next year so he can rack up his reward points that I can then trade for Park Hoppers!

I can't wait to see the posting when you guys hook up at BW. Can't wait to see the pictures. I still have to get myself a digital camera. Don't have one year. Maybe Christmas we will get one then I can do posts. I could only post now some of our pictures at disney when we got married.

Saturday, November 24th, 7:00pm at the Starbucks in the Barnes and Noble in the Promonade. No time like the present to talk about next years Food and Wine Fest trip. I'm going to start pricing rooms now and we can talk about a tour that we would like to do. So far we have done the Key's to the Kingdom and the 2 hour Segway tour.

i know what you mean by the expense. I have many traders and I have promised DH I won't buy any more traders until I have traded some of the many I have.

Browse through the link that Choascent put about 4 posts up....VERY informative about pin trading, I learned a lot. There are pins called Pro Pins, Sedesma & "scrappers" which are counterfiet that are everywhere. That is what is being sold a lot on eBay. Some CMs will trade Sedesma & Pro Pins but they apparantely are not the "true" Disney pins. I bought my first pin lot last night! I got 9 Toy Story themed pins for $21.50 which included the S&H. I checked out the seller to the best of my ability, he's not one to sell "lots" of hundreds & thousands - really, where are those people getting 10,000 Disney pins? 99% I bet are fakes! You can also go onto pinpics.com to check the pins you are buying to see if they are a licensed Disney pin, and all of the ones I bid on were on there. Of course that's no guarantee that mine won't be fakes when they come but I felt confident enough to get them.

I was just wondering if any of you are using the Boscov's charter for your trip? We have used them twice now with no problems and it is a nonstop flight. We just had our meeting last night to pick up all of our stuff and I was sitting there in the meeting just wondering if anyone was a disboarder.

Just thought my fellow Pghers might like this information, found in today's PGH Post-Gazette, the Business section:

Southwest Airlines will increast the number of Sat. flights to Orlando from 3 to 4 beginning March 8. (An additional Sat. flight to Tampa will also be added.)

Southwst is also upgrading its lounge, not that I've ever been in it, to add leather chairs, flat-screen TVs, and outlets for laptops/cell phones.

On another note, I'm trying something different this trip for a birthday celebration. I ordered a cake for my SIL from the Boardwalk Bakery to be delivered to the villa the day we check in. It should be there when we arrive from our busy day at the parks! I started looking on the "cake" thread & just had to try one! You should see those beautiful cakes! Anyway, it's a 10" vanilla cake, with chocolate mousse filling & buttercream icing with Tinkerbelle on the top! Can't wait to see (& eat) it!!! Honestly, you'd think I was a little kid! I'll post pictures when I get back!

OMG - that cake sounds amazing..........yum.

I am so excited about our trip - I can hardly sleep at nights.

Hey Tara - I am short and have medium curly brown hair. I will be with my DH and DBFF. I will see if my DS or DD can help me post a picture which will be of some help, but I will have my LGMH.
