Hi i'm from P.A.!!!!

You make me feel old.... :rotfl: ...like I been around here forever....

Not really sure what you mean, but the easiest way to jump "topics" is to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page where it says "Forum Jump". Just click on the drop-down and click on where you want to go. Is that what you are referring to?

You're just a "youngster" age wise, but are wise with experience.......:rotfl2:

I think that Forum Jump was just what I was looking for, thanks again.:thumbsup2

Abington is just a hop, skip and jump away from Philly. Do you work in the city? I do - 5th and Walnut Sts. :woohoo:

I used to work at 6th and Walnut! Now I work at 15th & Walnut. I lived at 23rd and Walnut until I moved to Abington. Hi neighbor!

Really, I am in the Penn Mutual Bldg. Were you at the Curtis Center? Probably saw you in the park - but I mean Independence Mall, not WDW, although maybe there, too!!!:cool2:

i actually have no idea what the building i worked at was called - i was only there for a few months for a short freelance gig. it's that huuuuuge white building that takes up most of the block.

Yes Belle's Mom Tink, it's Yankee Candle at The Promenade. I'm usually there 3-4 days during the week, like 10-3:30, and then sometimes on the weekends too. Please stop in & say hello! A few of us on the Coping & Compassion Board tried to meet up this week but we couldn't work it in our schedules, so GraysMom was nice enough to at least stop in & say hi with her son. The fire pit by Starbucks is a nice place to meet up sometime!

Definitely, I'll have to see if you are working next time I know I am going there. I've been trying to stay away, just seems like I always spend money there!!:confused3 weird huh? haha

Hello PA!!
I'm counting down to a the cruise. Will be on the ship in 2 weeks.
Has anyone ever gone to Hershey Park for Christmas? That is a fun time. The drive thru lights are amazing. Knoebel's is one of our family favorites. Went school shopping at VF last month.
I'm just so excited for the cruise. Also going to Seaworld and booked dine with Shamu.

We keep talking about going to Hershey Park when Christmas Candy Lane is running, but we never seem to get there. We really just need to schedule it in now to make sure we get there this year.

Have a great time on your cruise ! We went on one several years ago and I would love to go back. I would have been happy to relax on Castaway Cay for a week :beach: and then go back to civilization.

I think we went to Hersheypark for Candycane Lane not last year, but the year before. I remember last year a customer of mine canceling an appt :snooty: because she and her family wanted to go there. When I finally DID see her, she was telling me about it and it changed a little. Apparently, now you have to pay admission, even if you aren't riding anything. Used to be free to get in, now you have to pay? :confused3 Ridiculous....glad we went when we did..... There wasn't that much stuff open to ride, but we did have a nice night.......cold......but nice.

Just read all 37 pages...Hello from the Lehigh Valley, Whitehall to be exact:cool1: I'm surprised to see how many Lehigh Valley Disers there are:thumbsup2

Hi All,

I grew up In Lebanon County. I now live in Montgomery County. When I was going through high school and college, I worked at Hershey Park. I never worked Christmas Candy Lane, I instead worked at the Arena for all the events there. I went to Candy Lane last year with my Parents from Florida. I kid you not, it was THE COLDEST DAY last year. My parents were so cold and miserable but what was worse was the kids. My poor kids were even asking to go home. I think it was like the 8th of December last year. Something like that. Anyway, glad to see so many DISers from the great state of PA!!!

Go Eagles!!!:cool1:

Yes, last year was the first time that they changed the admittance policy. Personally, I think it stinks. Especially for parents with little kids. It was so nice for the adults to get in free and the kids riding the few rides for them.
