sorry Tara... my excuse is I have been on this cough syrup with codeine and antibiotic since Thursday... homebound due to respiratory infection... so everything's a bit wubbly right now... but I think I did fix it.. again!

Yes, I've been to Kennywood the past few summers. It's a fun park to visit. The kids love the rollercoasters!

Greetings from Cranberry Twp! I grew up in West Mifflin, home of Kennywood Park.

I'll be making a quick trip with my DS and DD from August 2-6, staying at Pop Century. We are meeting up with a bunch of DIS friends I have made over the past few years.

We were just at Kennywood on June 18 and Idlewild on July 8. They're both annual events for us. Now if I could only manage a trip to Steeler training camp... we never seem able to make it.

Okay South Central/Harrisburg area Dis'ers, want to meet up at the Disney store sometime? I forget what the name of the mall with Sears is near 11/15 but I am thinking that is the closest Disney Store for the most people here.

I am taking care of my Father during the week but our weekends are flexible. I go to Carlisle (?) shows now and then and always stop at the DS there.

We could take it to PMs for safety reasons...

You guys are killing me! Now you have to mention Quaker ...Ugh! Pittsburgh (and Philly!) has all the great food! Princess Mom, I so remember the school picnic days! We did those every year! Our school gives the day after off! ( Elizabeth Forward) So fun! My mom just retired from teaching there! Where does your hubby teach? We are trying to get back up there before the end of summer to do Idlewild and Storybook Forest! We love that place! Ever done Cedar Point? We will be there same time as you guys. July 23-28 at the POP. Maybe we will run into eacother!

Johnstown people, one of my best friends lives out there and my aunt lives in Somerset! I feel like we are all neighbors in some way!!!!! Yes, I know, very cheesey!

My hubby teaches at Jeannette High School. All 11th Graders in the district -- they have given him every gray hair he has. It is sad to think that alot of kids in the area look to him for parental advice because they don't have that at home -- but I don't think that is just here, I think it is everywhere!
