Ooohh. Count me in for Park City! Actually, I would go to the one at Capital City mall too. I have never been there though.

Yep, but where is a play area there?

having only been there one time I can't say where exactly the play area is. I believe it is near one of the big stores on an end. It has a talking tree, and a fully padded play area. I really hope I am thinking of the right mall. I think we were only at one mall that day. Wonder if there is a map of the mall online somewhere?

I haven't been to Harrisburg mall since last year (last Hersheypark visit) and they were still doing construction. Sounds like it is time to revisit that mall.

Hi Pennsylvanians, my family and I live in the Pocono Mountains. We live in Milford (near NJ, NY border), we have tons of deer, bear, turkeys and all other wild animals, but we do have one light in town!!!!

Our school district is sending all of the band, choir, orchestra to disney next may/june, My 14DD is in the band. I will be going with my 6DS to "Chaperone", hee, hee-this is what I am telling my job!

I am so excited to be going again, plannning is so much fun! Hey, have any of you PA people flown out of Newburgh, NY? We do to other states but they have Jetblue (?) direct and cheap to ORL. Last year we flew out of Scranton. I just love these small homey airports.

Howdy!! Where is Newburgh? Does Jetblue fly out of Scranton? We usually fly from Baltimore. Flights are always the cheapest from BWI. But, I didn't know about Scranton.

Newburgh is in NY, near Middletown. You go Route 84 all the way from my house to there. It is about 1.15hrs, but it is a lovely trip and no lites or traffic.

I do not believe Scranton has JetBlue, when we flew last year it was with USair I believe, the only flights from Scranton have a connection (we connected in NC).

Baltimore is pretty far from here, and I expect if you do have some savings it would be eaten up by the gas it takes you to get to Scranton not to mention the time in the car-you want to get to Disney as fast as possible!!!!

Heading to PIttsburgh today to see my sister, 6-7 hr drive all the way across the state of PA!

The Allentown airport has direct flights to Tampa and Orlando, Sanford airport, on Allegiant Air. The only bad thing is that you cannot take advantage of the Magical Express.

I can't believe I am the first person from Lewisburg to join this thread! Of course, I am not a native to PA...originally from upstate NY. My wife and I just took our first trip to Disney July 7-14 and stayed at Coronado Springs. It was GREAT!

I've never been in September nor have I stayed at VWL before, though I have stayed at (and loved) WL.

I'll definitely be looking into Scranton for future trips. We have gone as far as Newark, NJ to save some bucks on flights. The three regional airports I have nearby don't seem to have good prices. Harrisburg used to have an airline with daily nonstop flights to Orlando with decent rates, but the flight times and dates were really weird. Like flights on a Tuesday. It just never seemed to work for me. Thanks for all the great info!

My family and I always fly out of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Int'l airport. We usually pay around $250-ish per ticket, which isn't bad, esp factoring in long drives to Philly or Allentown. When I factor in driving time (and hassle), gas, parking fees, etc. it's better for us to leave from WB/Scranton.
