We are doing good! Busy this week, going to a Iron Pigs game on Thur and having a party on the 4th and going to one on the 5th.

Yes, I have a busy week coming up too. This Saturday my husband & I are going to !Yankees' game....the Red Sox! Then next Thursday, I'm off to the World to meet with my brother & his family. Can't wait! Taking along some of those handheld little fans!!

Just popping in to say Hi to all the PAer's out there that I met!! Sorry haven't posted more but have a lot of Dog issues lately and have a dog behaviorist coming today to look at our "pack" we may end up removing one of our beloved babies and putting her in another home so she may be happier.

Hi everyone! It's been a week or so since I popped in here. Ants - how are you doing? I've been thinking about you. Have you had a chance to visit with your mom? Hang in there.

DH had a double hernia (umbilical and inguinal) plus a vasectomy on Monday. He is the biggest baby & I'm about ready to run away. He can't even get up & out of bed alone, use the bathroom, shower, get something to eat, walk, etc. It's like having an infant in the house - only it speaks & talks back! The boys & I are off to Potter County on Monday for the week - he is staying here alone - I felt bad about that for awhile - now I'm counting the minutes til we go!

Linda - wow less than a week til you're in the World. I'm still tossing around another solo trip in fall, or taking one of the boys with me. I miss it & I was just there in May & December!

Timmy - I lost my Dad in June also, it has been a few years, but I still think of him and miss him. It gets easier, but so very, very gradually . I will send you good thoughts and pixie dust to help you through this very difficult time. Penny

Update: (sorry it is taking me awhile to respond..,. )

Thank you for all the support... happy thoughts and pixiedsut... All is well physically but emotionally I guess I am still trying to understand what happend and why it happened... Mom is doing Ok... I dont know if I was able to mention that when my dad passed away at 4AM he was then taken to his last state and was buried at 1PM which is why I did not go home anymore. Since it will take me 24 hours to fly back home. My mom has to wait for 4 months and some days before she can leave and come visit me. and then we will plan my dad's 1 year and that is when I will go visit his grave

My Uncle who is my mom's Brother and my dad's bestfriend passed away 4 days later after my dad and is being buried as we speak... sorry for that sad note again... Hopefully these is it for now. My mom needs a little break with all this excitement.

Yikes... the vasectomy might be less painful but the hernia can be.. esp'ly with the ongoing weather of you never know if it is going to rain or not.. Wishing him a fast recovery.. for your sake

I was so tempted to get up and go this weekend.. since I am off Saturday, Sunday and Monday... I called POP yesterday and they gave me a quote of $131.00 for 2 nites... but it is not in the stars... still paying respect for my uncle.. today is his last day... So for now I am focusing in my 9 day Sept. trip Which means tomorrow.. I will just have to go to the nearest TDS to satisfy this need to be near MM!!!

Yes, we are very excited about this trip! My brother & DSIL said we need to make up for last December, soooooo we just booked another trip! Did I ever mention how much I love my DSIL!!! Anyway, we'll be @ OKW again 12/5-9. Anyone else in the World around that time??

Hi Everyone. I haven't been on in ages - I haven't gone back (yet) and tried to catch up, since this page has me in shock.

Oh. Timmy, I am so very sorry about your father's passing and now your uncle, too. I also lost my father several years ago - it is something you never quite get over, but the pain does lessen.

We just made our plans and will be booking in the next couple of days - looks like I will just miss you, Linda. I will be there from 12/1 and checking out on 12/5, then heading to Jacksonville to visit family. Too bad, it would have been nice to catch up again this year. Hope all works out smoothly for you this year. Is anyone else going at that time? I am booked at Pop Century, but hoping again for discounts and to move up to POR. Will you be at Boardwalk again?

Tara, are you heading back same time this year? Hope DH is feeling better soon. They are most definitely not good patients. MY DD is even worse - I hope she outgrows this before she even thinks about ever being a Mom!!

Let me know if anyone else will be there the first week in December. It will be a shorter visit this year, as we are trying to get some family visiting in on both end of the trip. I am hoping my DBFF might be able to join us again, but it will have to be at the last minute if at all.

it is the missing of hearing his voice that still gets me crying.... since we talk everyday... always since I was 9 how ever busy our day is going to be we make we connect for atleast 15 minutes...
