Hi and hello to you all,
Although i have not been on the boards for a while, as many of you know what has happened in the past 6 months i wont bore you with the details, i have thought about many of you and your kind words and encourgement many times.
In short my "ex" is still living with his misstress and long may it continue, as time has passed i have realised just what sort of person he is and as far as i am concerned our marriage is over. Just waiting for divorce on solicitors instructions until house money ect sorted, but not expecting anything to move until early next year. He is still popping around at regular intervals and i only put up with it to keep the "peace" still using excuse that it is to see the cat.....
Anyway, now i am feeling more positive and happier about the future, i have started looking into going back to Florida on my own. The kind person who we were going to rent the villa from next year, has held over the deposit for me indefinately, and will allow me to rent one of his smaller condos instead (cheaper than 2 star hotel). I am looking to go back in JAN 2006 although i would have liked to go sooner, this gives enough time to sort out all things legal and time to get some money together.
So question galore. How many of you have gone on your own to the land of the mouse? I see these boards have a solo section which i will spend some time reading through. Will i be okay as a lone female driving around, a novice first time driver, have only map read in the past? I need to find a cheap direct fly/drive, loved PE on virgin and would prefer to go this or equivilent again? Any input,advice or anything to help is much appreciated.
