Hi everyone

I am really sorry that I caused the thread to be locked - I just needed to say my peace -

I have told Baloo from my end that she has my word that I am done with it! Hopefully she will unlock it soon

I wish it was just moments

Do any of you have a husband with ADD? If so do they also have a special attachment to the TV? Mine seems to be hypnotized by it and it is my responsibility to turn it off.

Hello, all! Well this has been a weird weather day in Utah. We've been having a heat wave the last little while, but last night thunderstorms moved in. It rained all night long, which cooled us down a lot, but it was still raining this morning, so I couldn't walk today, bummer! I took the kids to the library this morning, and as we were on our way home, it began to rain again. Then the wind picked up. It got really bad, and I just heard on the news that the hail and rain were so bad about 15 miles south of us that a small airport was completely destroyed. People's homes have lost roofs, trees have been uprooted and all kinds of damage has been done. I'm grateful we were spared that, at least!

Now, it looks better outside. Katie has a friend over and they are attempting to make "fairy cakes", so I'll be popping in and out making sure they don't destroy my kitchen. I don't mind the mess I know I'll find, but I'd hate to have total destruction!

Hi Lindsey! Hope you are feeling better today.

Glad to hear you escaped the worst of it! That type of unpredictable weather always scares me. Stay safe! :grouphug:

Well.. I am sending lots and lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: to everyone here. I know we will get past this and come out on top. :grouphug: to all!

With that said, I am off as we are headed to Dana and Kevin's for dinner and so my girls can meet Katelyn. We are stopping by Cold Stone Creamery to pick up some ice cream for dessert. Will see you all later

Yup. We are all ok, and the kids want to play in the puddles. I don't think so, not yet!

Fairy cakes are very small cupcakes. Katie is a big believer in fairies, and I told her that she and her friend could have a tea party today. They found a "fairy ring" of mushrooms in our yard and are convinced that the fairies came to visit last night. So, they are making a batch of the tiny cakes for her tea party, and then they are going to leave some out for the fairies tonight. Should be fun! Guess I'll have to see what I can arrange for them outside, tonight. Maybe some fairy dust will be left behind. Hmmm....

I'll post pictures of the cakes when they are finished!

what's a fairy cake?

Jim officially has the hyperactivity also but it's an opposite affect on him....he's laidback. So that's my main drama in my life...some how it's always my fault or the ADDs fault that my husband can be a slacker.

Pity party is done with!!! Back to happier stuff.
