I am new to this forum too. I am mostly a lurker, but I love to read posts. I was convinced by my neighbor that I would love scrapbooking and she was right. I have never scrapped before, but I love, love some of the layouts I have seen here. I "scraplifted" (see I learned a new word - teehee) a few of your designs. It gave me some confidence that I can think of ideas on my own.

I have a husband and 13 yr old twins (thus the user name) - a boy and a girl. We are DVC members and absolutely love any and all Disney. We just took our first 7 day Disney cruise over Thanksgiving and had a blast.

I am trying to assemble Disney items for my scrapbooking. I recently got some good buys at Michael's and Joanne's. I looked thru the lists provided in the stickie at the top of the forum. I love some of the embellishments and stickers, however the shipping is outrageous on these items. For example, I love the Mickey Photo Corners, but the shipping was way more that the corners.

Do these places ever offer free shipping? Are there any other favorite shopping places? Everyone here is so talented and I love looking at your work. Thanks for any and all advice and have a great day.

Some places offer free shipping if your oder is over a set amount --scrapbookpal.com does for orders over $50. On Cyber Monday I was lucky and noticed that mousememories.com was offering free shipping, no minimum -- I think a lot of places did that day.

I don't like to order scrap stuff on line, so I save up my wants until I go somewhere there's a scrap store - like FLoriDA. When I do shop on line, it's usually from a store where i've shopped in person - like CroppeShoppe in Jacksonville, fl, or where I know the people, like MouseMemories. But there again, it's gotta be enough stuff to make it worth the shipping. Priority mail in a flat rate box if they stuff the box is a pretty good deal.

Welcome!!!!! I don't have a scrap store near me, other than Jo's and M's, so I order online sometimes. I look for the free shipping deals. ScrapYourTrip is my favorite online site and they give you free shipping once your order is a certain amount (I think it's $59) and then sometimes they have specials where that's lower.

I'm not sure what to tell you about shipping, but get on mailing lists if you can. a lot of places will email you promotions including free shipping.

I can't wait to see pages about your cruise. I want to do the Alaskan disney cruise so bad!

The only online ordering of scrap stuff I have done has been from Cricut itself and they have been okay. The shipping from the rewards program is insane! For getting my supplies I am a coupon queen for M's and Jo's.
