I am wanting to rent christmas, 2008, how soon sould i start looking or how soon is it possilbe to rent ? Thanks for any info!

Depends, 1st are you DVC members? if so, is WL your home resort? if yes to all these ? then at your 11 month window. Christmas time is extreamly busy at WDW and rooms go fast. If your home resort is other than WL then at the 7 month window. If you are paying cash, then right now is good or soon after the 1st of the year. Or you can look into renting points from another member ( see rental board).

If you are looking to rent a reservation from a member for December of 2008, you should be contacting a member now so the reservation can be booked 11 months from the checkout day. If you want VWL, you need to rent from a VWL owner. If you have a different specific resort you want, you need to rent from an owner of that specific resort.

Many people get renting questions answered on the DVC boards... You didn't post on the wrong board to get answers, but you will need to post on the rent/trade board to get a reservation.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask the DVC members.
