Hello Everyone!!
I've been lurking about the site for a few weeks now and finally got up the courage to post! This is my very first time using a forum of any kind...so please bear with me.
First, let me introduce myself:
My name is Tiffany and I am 23. I just finished graduate school last month and have been substitute teaching (when I can get a day in). When I am not subbing, I am usually sitting around being a bit depressed by my very bad income (nothing) to debt (student loan overload) ratio.
To rescue me out of my depression came my prince charming, Zach
. He and I have been together just as long as I have been away at college (5 1/2 years) , and so decided to plan a vacation to celebrate the fact that we will be able to live together...finally!!!
(I'll post a picture of us as soon as I figure out how 
Since I love Disney and Zach loves animals, it was not too difficult to talk him into going to WDW for a week! We booked our early February trip last year, planning for us both to pay 1/2 of the cost. Well...needless to say my job prospects kind of stink and I realized by this November that there was no way I could come up with the money. I was certain we would have to cancel when Z. told me not to worry about it. That's right, as my graduation/Valentine's Day gift, my wonderful boy paid for our entire trip!!!
So here are the details for our magical week....
We'll be staying at the AKL (pool view). We are going to be using the DDP because we managed to book our dining during some sort of promotion. Here is my very rough schedule for our days....
Friday 2/3- We're leaving home at night to begin the long, 20 hour drive to Florida!! We're going to drive through the night all the way down to Georgia, where we will be staying outside of Savannah.
Sunday 2/5- Check In!!! We don't have an ADR for that night because (and I quote) "It's the Super Bowl. We need Pizza and Wings". Mara or Pizza Hut, most likely.
Monday 2/6- ADR for Shutters at 8 p.m. I've heard mixed things about this restaurant, but Z. is really looking forward to it.
Tuesday 2/7- ADR for O'Hana at 8 p.m.
Wednesday 2/8- ANIMAL KINGDOM!! Lunch ADR at Yak and Yeti at 1 p.m., Dinner at Whispering Canyon at 8 p.m.
Thursday 2/9- ADR for Boma at 8:10 p.m.
Friday 2/10- EPCOT ADR for Les Chefs de France at 8 p.m.
We'll be going off site one day to see the Wizarding World and playing golf sometime on Tuesday, but other than that I am just starting to really nail down the details for our trip. Although Z. was wonderful at booking and paying for the trip, he does not want to get excited and plan with me. He told me he'll get excited when we leave that Friday.
I just don't get it, but I figured to save him from being driven crazy, I would post my pre-trip planning here where I hope you all will enjoy it more!
