Hi DisneyPals-question about dining

I am going in sept. with the DDP, and one day we are going to BB. I thought that we could go over to the Boardwalk and just eat at the ESPN club which doesn't take reservations. We will probably just drive there. My question is 1) will I be able to park in the resort lot for free without a reservation, and 2) Do you think that it will be too crowded to be able to get in? Thank you for your input!

I would personally take the bus to MGM, then hop the boat to Boardwalk.. Less stressful than driving, but they will allow you to park if you are going there to eat.. however they may ask for your parking pass from POR.. make sure to bring it with you just in case!

You should have no problem parking for free at the Boardwalk. Folk come all the time to experience the atmosphere and eat at the restaurants. The self park (free) lot is a fair walk from ESPN.
As for how crowded it will be that depends. When are you going? Are there any big games happening that night?
We have eaten there several times, and I don't think we ever waited more than 30 minutes.
