Hi! Can you walk from MK to MGM?

Hi. We want to go from MK to MGM to catch the motor cars parade and I'm thinking if we could walk maybe the kiddies could nap in the stroller? Just a thouhgt...would it work? Thanks.

Assuming this is not a JOKE... (as so many on this board would already know this kind of thing.)

MK is many many MILES from MGM.
It takes about 15 minutes at 40 mph by BUS to make the trip, so no, it is not a "brisk walking tour."

The only two themeparks within walking-distance are Epcot and Disney/MGM Studios. They are about a 30-45 minute walk apart.

Can you, well yes, but you can also walk from NYC to MK too.

In reality, NO.

If you want a walk you can also take the monorail to Epcot and walk through Epcot to the international gateway, through the Boardwalk, through the BW resort, accross thestreet and to MGM. Long walk too.

But what you could do is take the monorail from MK to Epcot then go out the International gateway exit and walk by either BW or YC/BC and then walk to MGM or from International Gateway, you can take a boat to MGM. You would probably want to give yourself about 1 to 1.5 hrs to do this, but you children could sleep in their strollers the whole time.

I know I do these all the time because we usually stay at BWV.

You COULD walk from home, but I wouldn't recommend that either.

The SHORT of it is... If you want to go from MK to MGM (Studios):

A. From MK: Take Monorail or Ferry to TTC.
Take the "Studios" Bus to the MGM front gate.

B. From MK: Take Monorail to TTC.
Cross-over to Epcot Monorail, exit at Epcot
A few yards up the sidewalk from exit of the Monorail down-ramp (walk OPPOSITE WAY from Epcot gates) is Bus Stop for "Studios" Bus. When it arrives, ride it over to the MGM front gate (short trip).

C. From MK: Stroll down to MKI bus-loading area. Take a Resort Bus heading for Swan/Dolphin (it goes to other resorts in that area, too.)
Exit Bus at Swan or Dolphin, stroll down to the boat-dock and take a Friendship to the Studios (its the next stop on the boats going in that direction.)

You CAN walk from Swan/Dolphin/Y&B Clubs/Boardwalk to MGM Studios (takes about 30 min.) if you want.

If you'd like lots of EXTRA walking, there are plenty of "out-of-your-way" detours (see other posts) you could also choose.

its just a typo.
