DW, DD, DGS, and I had a wonderful time with your family last week. Marjorie is just the most wonderful child, all of you are very lucky to have each other. There is so much love in your family it can't help but spill out over all who are near you and as has been written "Cast your bread upon the water and it shall be returned to you ten fold."
Now to the story of our unplanned meet.
This was my first trip to WDW that required I use an ECV almost constantly. On Sunday evening 4/30 my family and I went off to locate the handicap viewing area for Spectromagic. As we made the turn out of Liberty Square about 8PM I noticed the wheelchair signs on the lamp posts across from The Hall of Presidents, and it was mostly empty, so I said to my family "Let's stop right here." About 6 to 8 feet to my right was a woman in a wheel chair having a very animated conversation with all the CM's working the area. After a few minutes the conversation finally starts to register on my brain as actual words and not just random sounds and I think "I wonder if...." so I call out to this woman "Are you on the DIS boards" and she replies "Of course I am." After we introduced ourselves to each other we moved closer so we could talk, leaving room for Marjorie and Andrew of course. We had a wonderful meet and Bonnie showed us many secrets of the Spectromagic Parade. Marjorie was a little slow in getting used to us but we ran into them a few more times before the end of our trip and by Sunday 5/7 she even patted me on my leg and let me hold her hand a little.
For all of you who call Bonnie, Andrew, and Marjorie "friend" I now understand how you feel and for those of you who have never met them I hope you get the pleasure of their company in the future, I guarantee you will leave with a lighter heart then you arrived with.
