Just wanted to give you an update one me. After several months of trying to figure out what was up with my health we finally figured it out. Couldn't figure out why I gained 20 lbs in like a month and had not really changed eating habits drastically. Went to a new doc and she is fabulous!! Turns out I have a fibroid. SO I see a specialist in a week to see about that. She also did blood work and found out my triglycerides are 279 and blood sugar was 114. So now I must watch the obvious white flour carbs, trans fats and sugar intakes as per docs orders. So I have been watching what i eat, trying to stick to 3-4 mostly whole grain not processed carbs as well as lots of fruits and veggies and my 3 dairy as well as low fat meats a day. IN 2 weeks without counting calories I have lost 7 pounds. Now mind you the doc never mentioned loosing weight even though I need to loose 100+ pounds!! We have been walking and so far so good. Diabetes runs in my family and I have no desire to have to take meds the rest of my life if I can avoid it. The funny thing is overall my colesteral was not horrible 202. Doc wasn't even concerned about that part of things. So I am defiantely going to have to stick to things this time around!! See you soon!!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having some health issues. I do hope that it all gets taken care of soon. :hug:

I'm in the same boat you are. I've kept my bloodsugar under control for about 5 months now. Watch all your carbs all the time! It's worth it!

As for your other health issues - best of luck and please keep us posted!
