going to wdw in dec and need lots of help !! staying onsite and from what i've read the busses are not ideal with the restrictions - is a car or uber better? and if staying onsite is parking waived at the parks? any advice would be great - haven't been in awhile and really missing disney (from cali where our magic is on pause)

thanks so much

Yes, if you are staying at a WDW, you will not pay for parking at the parks. You will, however, have a resort parking fee.

We always use Disney transportation. It is one of travel few perks available for staying in the "bubble".

Between Rental cars being crazy expensive right now + hotel parking fees I would plan on using Disney transportation but budget an extra $100 for uber/lyft rides when you need to get somewhere in a timely fashion.

great!! was wondering if it was safe but must be:)
the buses have limited seating & plexi shields to separate parties.
Personal, we found the buses so much faster & easier than renting a car - we passed huge lines of cars as our buses breezed through the dedicated bus lanes.
We even got a private bus to AK when a bus driver had no takers for another park :)
