Well, finally back in Blighty. 4oc!!! what have you been doing with the weather whilst I have been away?
Have the Scotts taken over??

Slight problematical flight back, First 15 min delay for cleaners to get finished, then an hours delay due to a guy having to be stretchered into his seats, could not walk at all.

Then as we taxiied off the satnd Engine No3 would not fire up, back to the stand to replace the starter moter

Flight should have taken off at 19:45, eventually took off at 23:15
Got in a midday instead of 08:30, crossing VERY bumpy due to winter storms on east coast.

i agree about the ignorant americans multiplying...
we saw some really questionable behavior this time around...

for the first time we saw several mothers "forcing" their much too young toddler/babies to stay in attractions that were frightening them so much they were literally screeching in terror.....
it was terrible for the rest of us, but true torture for their own children...
and completely unfathomable behavior...

and the mothers continued to hold their childrens heads, pointed in the direction of the screen/stage/ whatever and say "look" at this that or the other...

i would almost catergorize it as child abuse....really stupid people....

If you do not now keep the phone connected, you need a new sim card as well as a top up minutes card.

In the past, all you needed to do was get new minutes, now you have to wait for them to send out new SIM cards, which guess what? after two weeks, only one had arrived for two phones.

You either have to buy 12 months connection, or get new sim cards each year or every 6 months.

We use virgin mobiles and top up every 3 months with $20 and this keeps the phones activated and we then have plenty of credit when we arrive How bad were the crowd levels we have booked for 1 - 14th Dec (thinking of extending to 21st)? With all my usual planning this one was an impulse purchase and thanksgiving next year is the week before, and pop warner is on... have i made a terrible mistake?
Sounds as if a good trip was had though

Normally the week after thanksgiving is quiet, but this year there was a sports competition on, so the parks had many children from the schools participating, both jocks and cheerleaders, visiting the parks, plus there seems to have been a shift in American ways that they are taking their kids out of school in trem time.

We waited 1 1/4 hours to have our pictures taken with Pooh, Tigger and Eyore in MK, if that gives tyou an idea of crowd sizes.
