HHN website

A woman with a chainsaw in the bathroom is definately too much for me! We are going to be driving into Orlando on the 18th of October and going to HHN that night. What time do you think we need to be at the park to take advantage of the stay and scream? I really want to be there to do the first 2 or 3 houses before all the crowds get there, especially the Universal House of Horrors, and I wanted to plan how early we need to leave in order to make it!:surfweb: Thanks

From personal experience, I make sure I'm there by 4:30. I wouldn't push it past 4:45.

Does anyone know if it is going to be possible to change my tickets from ROF to ROF with express pass. I just changed my mind. I have the tickets in my possession already.

Thanks. I assume guest services will not be open at 10pm on the 5th since we will be arriving late. I assume we can use the regular ticket that night and upgrade the next day.

If you mean October, the Guest Services will be open. Because they stay open during Halloween Horror Nights.

We went to our first HHN two years ago and we loved it! That time we were staying on property so we just hung out at the SnS area. This time we are staying at the Dolphin and, I think, taking a cab over for two nights. What time do we need to arrive in order to not be at the end of the line to get in? Is there usually a really big crowd waiting?

Also, if anyone has any tips for the most economical way to get back and forth from the Dolphin, I'm all ears. Thanks!!

i have seen peeps start standing in the line outside the gate as early as 4:45.
these peeps only have the hhn tix and have to wait until the gates open at 6:30 to be let in.
it is time consuming for those that arrive at 6:00 to enter that line.
all peeps must walk thru the metal detectors to enter the park that are in that wait line.

it kind of depends on the date you plan to do hhn on what time to arrive at the studios.
there are some nights that do not have the lengthy line out front as others.

i don't know if guests at the Dolphin are eligible for the disney/mears transportation of the shuttle from there to the UO parks.
it is $19 rt pp.
this mode of transportation is available for hhn.

if you don't have hhn tix, you can link up with Dreams Unlimited.
they offer the tickets and transportation at a decent cost.

if you are rushed for time, a taxi is fine.

i have read in the motherland side of the Dis that if you catch a taxi from DTD, your taxi cost can be about $30-35 one way to UO.

daisy and donald....

i just found this post on the motherland side of the Dis boards.

it might give you an idea of recent costs.

Just wanted to report in, we took a Mears Taxi, (we didn't call it, we took one of the ones waiting at the resort), from the Port Orleans Riverside to the Royal Pacific Hotel, 2 people, and the fare was just shy of $35. I paid $40 with tip.

Thanks RIP for answering my question! I made reservations at Finnegans at 4:30 so I definately think we'll be there on time. Can't wait:cool1:

More exciting info posted from HHN!

"The House of Horrors will feature 2 firsts in HHN history: 1) In one room you will have to duck and crouch to get through while scareactors will be scaring from all sides, and above. 2) The final room of this house will feature the most number of scareactors ever had in a single room. Good luck getting out."

Hmmm ducking and crouching - interesting! :scratchin

With as tall as I am.... and the fact I already have to duck/crouch for things that some "average height" people don't have to worry about... I'm almost picturing ending up giving the person behind me a very good look at my butt as I'm bent over trying to avoid hitting my head.

After a certain point, a standard duck/crouch doesn't work too well, and you are either completely hunched over, or crawling.

(Then again... depending upon how much I drink... the house may not be the only reason I end up crawling. ;) )

All the more excited for House of Horrors! It's already my most anticipated and this just bumps it up even more.

But were do we find the movie. There is know rental stores anymore and RedBox do not go back that far.NetFlix, forgett about it.

Let me know if you have away too see it!!

Silent Hill the movie is one of the best horror flicks I've ever seen. Totally creepy, atmospheric sets with a bunch of unforgettable freaks. Definitely see it before going. I have high hopes the house is half as good as the movie.

Never played the game but the movie was enough to make Silent Hill my must see house.
