HHN Touring: A Guide to max out your experience/minimize your waits

Awesome, thanks for the info!

So... on a Wednesday night... would it be worth it to blow a day ticket to get some extra time in, and bypass the crowds at the main gate?

It's always best to avoid the lines out front.

worked BEAUTIFULLY!!!!! The boys used the plan for admission from the outside of the park. They went to every house and every scare zone. They also rode all of the open rides. They didn't do the shows, they were not interested in them.

So THANKS!!!!:worship:

I know I'm sad but putting together plans for next year already. Thanks for the tip about being in the park early and using waiting areas - I'm keeping a copy of you touring plan too! What day would you reccomend going - we've a fortnight to choose from 14th - 28th Oct 2012! Current thinking is a Weds or Thursday night would be less crowded - or is it?

For future reference, I think Sunday is now the worst night. Limited hours but seemingly as crowded as any other night--and big lines from opening.

In contrast, Fridays tend to be surprisingly good, at least at the start and end of the night. Might be the higher ticket prices, who knows, but crowds take a while to build and are not necessarily the worst you'll see. If you can be there at opening, maybe get dinner at CityWalk or at least walk the scare zones and see the shows from 9 - 12, and then return to houses from 12 - 2, you're all but guaranteed of seeing everything.

Early Thursdays are good. But once Orange/Osceola/Seminole County schools start getting out on Fridays mid-month, very bad.

Wednesdays tend to be bad for the same reason (they generally are only scheduled in "hell weeks"). And again the limited hours, closng at midnight.

Saturdays remain and will always be bad, except maybe the last Saturday before Halloween.

Thanks; was thinking Thursday 18th - will probably move to Friday 19th now!! I did wonder if being cheaper on Thurs would make them busier - but not being local had no idea about the school thing.
