Hhn ???'s

In addition, AP's get cut up, refunds are NOT given, etc.

Also, do not take flash pictures of scareactors in houses. It's supposed to be dark and scary. Flash pictures blind the scareactor, which means they can't do their job safely. Flash pictures inside a house = expulsion from HHN.

i like those rules.....

last year stated 7......

i was at capt americas for the stay and scream at 5.
you should do that if you are going to be at the park that day prior to hhn.

the website lists the gory getaway for floridians. it includes day tix, hhn tix and get this........be at the gate between 4-6 to enter for selected houses and attractions.

i think this is really a stay and scream thing. attractions will be open at 4.
houses open when the day guests clear out.

I've never really liked the idea of S&S. Too light out. And you'll probably be done with everything by the time the event is just starting to ramp up for everyone else. I always go through Express, so I'm good to go.

i have to go in the daytime so i can get an idea where everything is.

when it is dark , and i go solo, i get freaked out in the crowds not knowing which way to get around to my destination.

i get most things done in the day time with the fotl card for rides and attractions.

i bought the express pass plus for hhn as insurance fall back..........

when i do the stay and scream, can do two houses and go to bill and teds.
it is dark when i get out of that show.

then do the houses but redo the first two with the express pass plus.
if the line is 15 minutes or less, i stand in it.
if more, i use the express pass for the house.

the one biggie that disappointed me last year was beetlejuice review.
it was the same show as in the daytime. i thought it might be geared more towards the hhn theme

That's the thing that bugs me about recent years. They add more houses every year, but there used to be a lot more entertainment besides just the houses. HHN needs another HHN-exclusive show besides B&T, especially if there's no parade.

let me clarify so you don't think i was being rude.
i have macular degeneration and i really have to see the set up before it is dark at hhn.
going by myself, i don't want to freak myself out and not know which path to take.

i have made 15 ttrips to universal. out of that since ioa opened, its probably been about 8 trips. i know where most things are already.

last year, on a saturday, the crowds were horrible the second weekend.
the cornfield was closed off around 10:45 and i had to backtrack the other way to get from universal to ioa ............i felt like standing there and screamng............that wouldn't help as half the drunks were standing around screaming too.......

i wish there were more houses. only 7 this year.....evil 1 & 2 count as one house. the parade, heavy sigh, that was sooooo kewl last year, i caught it twice. very disappointing not to use universal like it was done last year.

spread out the hhn to accomodate for all the extra tickets they sell over the limit.................too many people in small spaces spells trouble and dissatisfaction.

no parade, less houses, one big show (b & t ) only.........and prices raised again this year, on site hotels raised more this season also..........

whatever, i still will go and will return next year.........addicted to hhn

Do you think we will be able to make it throught the houses on Oct. 1st without Express pass?

yes, i think you will be safe without it.

in 02 and 03, i went the first weekend of october and did not buy the express pass for hhn. only in 03 did i have greater crowds on a saturday and around 11, lines were long then. but, i had covered all the houses prior to that.

with the horrible hurricanes that swept through orlando last aug, and sept, i believe crowds will be less this sept/oct. many are afraid of the hurricanes and a repeat.

that is the main reason i do not think there will be large crowds the first weekend for hhn.

last year i did buy the express for all three weekend nights for the second weekend. so many people postponed their vacations and rescheduled that second week. hrh was sold out completely .......and tickets were over sold on that saturday...........i did the stay and scream and had a great head start on the general admission crowds. the express pass was a life saver for the fri and sat. on the sun, it was a hit or miss on the lines for the houses.
