To those who have gone already or are there now, I heard there is a HHN merchandise store in/by Twister. Is it open during the day? I know my kid and husband will want to buy something but not carry it around on the night they are at HHN.

Yes. It is open along with every other merchandise stand/store. Even on non hhn days.

My scores so far:
Jack 25th House: 10/10: Awesome. I'd award an extra point if I could for the Weeping Angels.
Alice 8/10: Trippy interpretation of the source material
Freddy vs. Jason: 8/10: Lots of good scares. 2 points lost for the video screens at the end instead of live actors.
Insidious 6/10: Too dark to see anything; giving it another chance tonight.
Purge 6/10: Too dark to see anything; giving iut another chance tonight.
Body Collectors: 10/10
AWIL: didn't view yet since we saw it a few years ago. On the list for tonight.
Run: 4/10 - not clear what the plot was or why there were different country zones. The TMs forcing people to move along instead if giving a slight second to read the LED signs didn't help

Scarezones were OK. The chainsaws get old after a while. I liked the booths for the asylum zone.

So far I've done every house except AWIL and at least walked through each of the Scare Zones. Also saw B&T and Jack's show.

Chainsaws:
Okay, I know they got a lot of feedback that there weren't enough chainsaws the past couple of years, but this year they really seem to have gone overboard with the chainsaw action, and it didn't always fit the scare zone, IMO. It really was overkill.

Overall, a good beginning and I think HHN25 will continue to get better as the season progresses.

Weeping Angels in the Jack house?! Oh my God! I was excited enough for the Gentlemen in the Body Collectors! Can't wait to go! Thanks for the info!

Extremely happy with this year!!

We went on Saturday, Sept 26th and had a great time. We arrived at 4PM at Citywalk where we ate dinner and at 5PM headed over to the AP early entry line. Ended up near the Simpsons/Animal Actors area right at 5:30 to be let in early. We did Purge, Insidious, and got a drink by 6:20. We did the 3D house and then were at the first Bill & Ted show by 7:15. We were able to do everything but 2 houses by 1145 and settled in to watch the Jack show at 1215 and went home after that.

In total we did 7 houses, both shows, a ride, and stopped multiple times for snacks and drinks. If we had really tried we could've hit all 9 houses. Only houses we skipped were F vs J and Body Collectors. Early entry helps a TON.
