HHN Questions????

I have been searching for some answers and I'm still not sure I have things figured out. DH, DS 15 and I are attending HHN. We are AP holders and will be able to take advantage of the benefits available for HHN. My DNephew 25 is joining us. He is not an annual passholder. He purchased the 7 day ticket for $85. I plan on purchasing the Frequent Fear pass for all four of us with the AP discount as well as express passes. (From what I have read, I can purchase up to 6 tickets whether they are for AP holders or not.)

Last year was my first year with just my son. I recall that we went to the park early and started gathering around 4:30 PM in the NY area. I believe there was another area where other guests were waiting as well. I vaguely recall that the night we attended was a special night for AP holders. I'm not totally sure. Was it only AP holders who could wait in the NY area or was that the Stay and Scream area also? If it was only for AP holders, does this mean my DNephew will not be able to wait with us even if he has a frequent fear pass purchased with the AP? My DNephew will not have a Stay and Scream pass. Does this mean he cannot stay in the park before it closes for HHN? Am I dreaming or did they have special nights last year for AP holders? I recall that AP holders stood in a special line for the first show of Bill & Ted. Gosh, I wish I had paid more attention last year. I sort of just followed the crowd. I was totally overwhelmed as it was my first time and I was there with DS who was 14 at the time and focused on safety concerns for the first several hours until I realized I could finally relax. (The relaxation occurred shortly after DS talked me into having one of those Frontal Lobotomies because he wanted the light up glass/plastic container. DH is joining us this year so I am going to have a drink from the start this year!) Sorry if my questions don't make any sense but I hoping the HHN Homies know the answers!

I'm pretty sure that as long as your nephew has the Stay and Scream pass then he should be good to go.

And I'll be right there with you drinking from the start.

I agree that he'll be fine with the Frequent Fear Pass...that's what we had last year and we waited in the NY area...they only checked we had valid HHN admission.

I'm quite sure (but I could be wrong) they didn't have any special nights for AP holders last year, nor are they having any this year either. The line at B&T's show you're referring to was for Express Pass holders, not AP.

The only AP benefits at HHN are discounts on the tickets (except the UTH tour), that's it.

The only "special nights" they are having this year is the opening weekend and if you have a FF Pass, you can use it Friday and Saturday nights. They did this the past two years but in 2004, you couldn't go the first weekend.

Just checking...the FF Pass isn't good for all Fridays & Saturdays...just the first weekend, right? :confused3

Thanks for all of your replies! It looks like we should be OK and be able to stick together. I asked my son last night about Bill and Ted's first show and he reminded me that we were talking to AP holders in the waiting area in NY and they were the ones who told us that AP holders received "express seating" for the first show only of Bill & Ted's. (We attended the first Saturday night.) He also said that our AP's where checked as we entered the show. I vaguely remember them checking something but vividly recall the mass group of people entering in the express line. It was crazy! I remember thinking, "Wow! This show must be really good!" I must say I was not the least bit disappointed!!!
