If I decide I don't want to go at 5:00 to start waiting in line what would be a good time to go where we can walk right into park without having to wait outside in a line? Once they open gate (7:00?) how long does it take for everyone to filter through? Are we going to have long lines after 7:30 even with express passes? This is our first year not doing stay and scream.

We already bought our HHN tickets and express passes. Is there a way to get a theme park ticket after the fact in order to do stay and scream it says on site you must buy together to get the lower admission price but I didn't. I would possibly pay the thirty (I think) if it meant getting into park earlier. I dont want to pay 80 pp though. Am I screwed. Just wondering what my plan should be. 1) get in line at 5 (don't really want to do) 2) get in after park opening and hope lines won't be bad using express passes. 3) if able to try and purchase stay and scream (will only do if $30)

Try guest services, the worst they can do is tell you no. Times being as tough as they are and not wanting to piss off potential return customers they will probably just give you what you want.

If not, the Express passes will help you avoid the huge lines so showing up at opening time shouldn't be much of a problem.

Anyone add on stay and scream after the fact?

OK...I spoke to Phamton tonight who works at Universal Guest Services. She told me you could not get a discounted day ticket but you could purchase the day ticket and then tell GS you didn't know about S & S and paid full price. She said they could refund the difference on the HHN ticket only. Does that make sense?

Yes. thank you. DH has now stated that we don't need to do stay and scream
every year and he would like to actually walk into the park when its dusk and foggy like our first time 6 years ago.. So I guess I should be happy we have express passes. Do you think I should try to get to Bill and Teds first show? We definately don't want to miss it. Then I wonder which direction to go after towards leave it to cleaver or chucky?

the express pass is only valid for bill and ted's first show.
if you don't go then, your epp won't help you for the other B & T shows.

I did not know this!! Thanks we will make sure to go to first show. Anyone know when that usually is?

Best to go clockwise or counterclockwise around the park?

i am going by memory on this.
i do have last years park guide but not at home right now.

first show was either 7:00 pm or possibly 7:30 pm

i can look up last year's schedule later today and let you know.

the first show of the night is usually less crowds.
everyone is doing the houses to be ahead of the crowds and long wait lines.

that is why only the first show of B & T is valid with the EPP.

Is It worth seeing?,this will be our frist time at HHN so I want to max out our vist and get everything In but the shows are usually kind of hit and miss at the parks.

The only show I do is the RHPS Tribute...but if you don't like Rocky Horror you can skip it. I don't usually fool with B & T until much later in the month once I've done everything.

B&T parodies news, movies and entertainment events that happened during the year. It's raunchy and has a lot of singing and dancing so it's loud, boisterous and a lot of fun, especially for the teenagers it's geared towards. I'd miss a house before I missed Bill and Ted.
