When do the dates come out for HHN?

Anytime the park closes at 5pm, it's an HHN night.

are you asking the actual dates hhn will happen?

i used to go the first weekend of hhn until 2004. with sept being part of the weekend that october begins, i wasn't sure if hhn would happen at that point.

to be on the safe side the last two years, i booked my room and air to coincide with the second weekend of october for hhn.

i would hate to make the plans and find out i couldn't do a three night in a row hhn. once i make my plane and hotel ressies, just can't switch them.
and, i book ealy in the year jan/mar

this year ocotber 1st is on a sunday.

to be on the safe side, i booked for the second weekend again for hhn purposes.

i don't know if your question is about the park hours or the start date of hhn. let us know.


gee, wish i could ask a one sentence question. i ramble too much.
especially when i see something that has to do with hhn.......

fri/sat/sun for the first two weekends then other week days are added during the middle to end of the month.

Yes I know MNSSHP is in disney, Ive done it before. I just would have thought that HHN would have gone on sale same time as MNSSHP since both are in October. Oh well! Did you get hit with as bad of a storm as we did??
Everything is glazed with ice right now. BRRR

i'm about 25 miles south of milwaukee but 1.5 from lake michigan.
that keeps us from the ice storms usually.

just freezing cold is what we had, just like you.

Yes we are doing both. HHN for our 2nd time since 2003. MNSSHP 2nd time since 2000. Our kids will obviously need to be at Mariners club at Royal Pacific while we go to HHN. We will be going to Portofino (1st time) for 3 days then hopping over to Poly for 5 days before jumping on over to Disney Cruise. Most exciting vacation yet. My DH and I love HHN. So much better than Fright Fest at Six flags!!!

i live for hhn, totally and completely addicted to it.
everyone should try it once.

doing similar as you are LOLA 2, but opposite.
doing mnsshp first then moving over to universal hotel and doing 3 nights of hhn.


i am 10 miles from driveway to park entrance to six flags.
the only thing i do there on their fright fest is the hypnotist show.
my friend has been headlining it for many years.

Ok, so I looked at the hours page, there are a lot of dates closing at 5:00.

For example on Wednesday, Oct 11 and Thursday, Oct 12 would they have mid-week dates so early in the month?

Is it just because of how the dates fell? That's the only Wednesday mentioned and it would be really cool if that was actually one of the dates.

the first weekend is usually just fri/sat .. atleast thats what I recall from this past year when I went, I wanted to go SUN but was only fri/sat so I went sat.

usally Columbus day week is when they have the wed and thurs , atleast for
the last 3 years I have gone, I get a frequent fear pass arrive on sunday morning ... check out friday , I and dw enjoy 3 nights of hhn for the about the same price as one night.
Its also how we celebrate our anniversery and plan on doing the same thing this year.

i switched the last 2 years to the second weekend as i wasn't sure if hhn would happen on the friday sept 30.

3 years ago, i went the first oct weekend and sunday was included in it.
i heard sunday was incuded for hhn last year on the first weekend.

getting to the question about the wednesday and thursday hhn after columbus day, i believe some of the high schools have thursday off that week. there was a site posted on one of the threads that showed the school districts and schedules. don't remember which thread it was posted on though.

for this coming hhn in october, i already booked the second weekend as i don't know if friday sept 29 will have hhn. to be safe, i booked for the next weekend.

once i buy plane tickets and book the rooms, it is too difficult to switch my schedule then.

if you see on the calendar that ioa closes at 5 and the studios closes at 6, that is a good indicator hhn will happen on those select nights.
