HHN or Howl-o-scream? Details inside...

Will be in Tampa Oct 21-23 for work, at a minimum. Will be meeting family on Friday the 25th (my Birthday, woot!) at WDW.
I can either stay over in Tampa night of 23rd or head to Orlando.

Unfortunately, the dates are reverse of what I need for my ideal scenario. I'd love to do both.
HHN runs on 23 and 24
H-O-S runs on the 24th.

I've done HHN several times, and love it, but this time would most likely be solo.
I've never done HOS, but would definitely be solo.

Is H-O-S something I should do? It's definitely cheaper, but I'm drawn to HHN more, I'd like to see Ghostbusters for sure.
What would you choose?

We are doing MNSSHP on the 27th. Will do Lego HW one day, likely skip Sea World this year. Yeah, we love HW around here.

Why not do both? You can do HOS on the 24th and HHN on the 23rd or the 25th. HOS tends to have lighter crowds and is cheaper.

I’d love to do both, but I’d have to drive from Tampa to Orlando after work on 23rd, back to Tampa for h-o-s on 24th, and back to Orlando to meet wife and kids on 25th.

It’s a possibility, but not a probability...

I'd say it depends a bit on if there are any must do Haunts at Universal. But if you've never been to HOS I'd probably lean towards it. Especaily if you haven't been to the park at all as the coasters there are great as well. Can usually pick up a front of line pass for the coasters and mazes to do each one once for really cheap as well. This will ensure you can cover everything in the one night as well. I went last year to HOS with my family and we spent about $70 a person for tickets and front line passes and had a blast.

Plans changed a bit. So now I'm in Tampa Oct 21-23, Dallas 23-25, Orlando 25-28, Tampa 28-31. Whew.
Maybe I can fit it in one night, somehow.
