HHN Opening night ~ Mini-meet

Hey gang...I thought I would go ahead and post this thread regarding the upcoming opening of HHN. Since so many DISers are coming this year, I thought it would be fun to have a mini-meet beforehand to meet others.

I will have Express passes for that night and will be doing Stay & Scream so if you're interested in meeting, you should plan on doing S & S too.

I don't know where the holding areas will be this year but I'm planning on meeting people in the Boneyard again since this is the largest and easiest to find.

I will probably be there around 4pm and will just hang out before the park closes.

If anyone is interested in meeting up, just let me know on this thread. I know raph_b and his fiance will be there so let's hope others can make it too.

I'll post any details and/or changes closer to opening night.

The Boneyard is the concrete area (where the concerts are staged) between Twister and Jimmy Neutron. Last year they had drink carts set up so grabbing a drink is cool. Just remember...the park closes at 5pm meaning you can't get much of anything until HHN starts that night.

Sounds good to us! There is another thread somewhere saying that one of the holding places is Finnegan's Bar.

Well...we don't know for sure where any of the holding areas will be this year but I would suspect they will keep them the same as before...if at all possible.

I probably won't be going to Finnegan's that night but you are more than welcome to come over to the Boneyard and say hi.

We aren't doing stay and scream but plan to be there as soon as the park opens for HHN. I thought about buying a day ticket for Friday but we are already spending more than we should. But How often do you turn 30......... ( i plan to celebrate 30 for the nrxt 10 years at least )

Count me in. I'll be with my mummy (she isn't a fan but goes with me so that I can do the houses with strobe lighting- long story).

Anyway, I'll plan to be at US that day, so I'll go to the boneyard. I'll be very easy to spot as I will be wearing a Stitch backpack (can be seen in siggy pic from HHN16). If anyone spots me before I spot them (at any time), please come and say 'hi'.

I found out today from a neighbor who works at Universal...the holding areas for HHN are the Boneyard and an area in front of Fear Factor.

We will be a the boneyard, we will have a lime green ribbon on us somewhere - there is a mention of this on another thread, but can't remember which one. We are the ones with the Welsh accents!
