am I missing the list of 'select' nights on the USO website?

USH not updated to 2015 yet

Nope, all I have found is the 18th-1st. I wish they would put out actual days. It seems they are starting a week earlier than I thought.

That is fantastic news it starts on the 18th instead of the 25th........yay!!! We arrive on the 17th :rainbow:

Now I just hope the theme is a good one and houses are spectacular!!!

thanks for the heads' up! have a feeling that will mess with discounted tix (ROF/FF?) I was hoping for week prior to Columbus day since that would be the 4th weekend, oh well.

Looks like we'll probably go on the 14th of October. Any idea when RIP tour prices come out?

Orlandoinformer.com is reporting the following dates for HHN.
  • Sept. 18-19, 24-27
  • Oct. 1-4, 7-11, 14-18, 21-25, 28-31
  • Nov. 1
Based on that, compared to last year they are adding 1 Wednesday the 2nd Wednesday of October (Oct 7th) and they are adding an extra Sunday (Nov 1st).

Also on Orlando Informer, last year, several people mentioned buying ROF passes then upgrading to FF passes sometime during that final weekend of ROF and paying the difference in ticket prices. If your trips spanning that end point that could allow you to get that "third weekend". This is assuming ticket offerings will be the same as last year.

received email as to hotel packages from Universal. After digging around found the following dates listed under ticket options for a 3 Day Park to Park ticket (lists non-Saturday event nights):

The 3-Day Park to Park with Halloween Horror Nights® Combo Ticket entitles one (1) guest admission to: BOTH Universal Studios Florida® and Universal's Islands of Adventure® theme parks on the same day for any three (3) calendar days within a fourteen (14) consecutive day period; and one (1) HHN event night of your choice from the following NON-SATURDAY 2015 Event Dates which fall within the same fourteen (14) consecutive day period:

September 18, 24, 25, 27,

October 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 16, 18, 21, 22, 23, 25, 28, 29, 30 or

November 1.

This will be my first time going to HHN and because the way my vacation dates fall, I will be there on the third night of opening. Does anyone know if a touring plan would be made that soon after opening. Thanks.

I've never been to HHN but hoping to go for the first time this year. Looking at last years information, Touringplans.com and Orlandoinformer.com had their initial touring plans out shortly after the first weekend. Touringplans showed up in their Blog on Sept 22. Last year they did make a couple of change to them as people tested out how Diagon Alley would work as a "stay and scream" location, as Universal tweaked things a little, and as the popular houses to hit first were decided on. But, even looking at last years data, you should be able to get a rough touring plan unless things change a lot.

Thanks for the info. Like you said, a rough touring plan will be better than nothing!!!!

I can't wait! :yay:

Planning on going in October but not sure which night to pick. Am I right in assuming Fri, Sat and Sun days are the most crowded because there will be more locals going, while thursday and Wednesday are quieter?

In general, I think you're right with Saturdays being the busiest day of the weekend. When prices come out, look at the price for HHN express. The more expensive the express pass, the busier the night is expected to be.

I would still be prepared for crowds regardless of what night you go.

We find now even the quieter nights are still very busy, no such thing as a quiet night.

Quietest night we ever saw was actually Halloween night itself. Still wouldn't do it without EP though.

the rip tour info usually comes out during the summer.
over the past years, it was announced end of july or first of august.

but, last year, that info on the tours came out unusually early to the public.
i booked on June 10 2014 for a private hhn rip tour

have no idea if that will occur again this year for the release of info for RIP tours.

the day tours came out around aug 28th last year.

these are the house tours of 3 hours per session.
morning and afternoon set dates

you have a tour guide and view the inside of select houses with the lights on in them.
