Hi all!

I'm planning my fourth trip to an HHN event this year. I usually travel in mid October, but this year it looks like the last week of September is a better fit.

How busy/not busy has the end of September been the last couple years? We're planning on getting the rush of fear pass and going the last five days it can be used.

End of September will have less crowds than mid October

You will enjoy less crowds at hhn

I did mid-September last year and will be doing it again this year (Sept. 19th to 27th). Not sure how it compares to October, but it was still pretty busy. By 9pm, most lines were 60 minutes (with the really popular ones like Stranger Things at 90 minutes), so I'm happy I had the express pass each night and will be using it again this year!

End of September you have the best chance of doing everything you want to do. It's our favorite time to go to HHN. We did wait 90 minutes for Stranger Things but that was expected due to all the hype going in.

With hhn beginning September 6 this year, end of September will be the 4th weekend for hhn

I’m guessing there will be some crowds for that last weekend of September

For many years (20) I’ve gone for a two week period and doing private rip hhn tours during the Columbus Day weekend on a Friday

It was so packed last year so I switched to late September for hhn this time to start my stay
With the premier hotels filling up, I think we will see some long house lines in the park last weekend of September

I also booked a couple of public rip hhn tours for the dates that had a higher price

If it follows a pattern of past years, those tours that have a higher rate makes me feel UO expects crowds some nights

Let’s hope I am wrong ....

Last year using the express pass, there were a couple of houses where I had a 40 minute wait
Stranger Things had heavy lines for me on Friday and Sunday nights
It was a great house!

Lines were decent at the beginning of the evening but once it was about 10, crowds grew on the weekend

Once hhn begins, many will share their experiences
I’ll have a better idea of which houses to hit early in the evening for less long line waits

Thanks for the input! I think we're going to get the express option added to the passes. Even if it's not too busy it'll be nice just to take a more relaxed approach to HHN considering we'll be going five nights in a row.
