HHN - busy days

I'm heading to HHN for the first time with my 11 yo son. Is there any difference in attendance between October 13 (thursday) and October 16 (sunday) or will they be both equally busy?
Is EP a must have for this dates?

Thursday should be less busy...EP probably is a must for 1 night during the busiest week of HHN.

Thursday's 3 years ago were lighter for non peak Hhn dates

But that has changed and it is busy but not as bad as Sunday's

Thursday trumps Sunday so do Thursday

I always buy the ep for both of those dates

If you are only doing one night for Hhn, having the ep will get you to see all the houses and shows that one night you are there
