DH and I stayed at RPR on 10/31 (and got an Entertainment rate of $110! - found out when we checked in they were booked full, so we were grateful to have gotten that rate, but I made the reservations back in Feb) and did HHN that night.

We had the 2nd day of some old 2-day hoppers and went to both parks, making sure we ended up at IOA about 3:30. Since we already had our HHN tickets (unfortunately I paid full rate instead of Stay and Scream rate - hadn't known about it until too late - bought our tickets via the web and had no problem getting them electronically once we got there), we stayed in the park and ate dinner at the Enchanted Oak.

The first house was ready at 5:30! We couldn't believe it. And, we were the first 2 people through the 2nd house at 6. We got though 4 houses by 7:15, and it was already starting to fill up (and with DH's scooter, that was a pain). We did one last house (managed 5 out of 6), but nothing beat the Drive-In, #2 for use. DH laughed the whole time as I screamed the whole time, especially in those body bags!

I had mainly made the arrangements for HHN to please DH, but this ended up being one of our favorite things on this trip (ranking right up there with POC at DQ).

Glad you had fun. DH and I did HHN for the first time on 10/26 and it was a highlight of our trip! I HATED those body bags. DH thought it was funny when he let go of my hand when we were going through that part, :scared1:

Sounds like you had a great time. Thank you for sharing!

I was also there that night with my daughter. Did the stay and scream, went to psychoscearpy at 6pm. Fear House revisited (3rd house going clockwise) had a long line, the rest we're walk ons. Jungle of doom opened at 8pm, we waited 15 minutes before it opened. Watched the infestation show, and Ashley's feet we're tired. We bought a shirt and left but had alot of fun.

That's the thing with bringing a 12 year old if you visit the park early in the day. Their feet will be worn out, and they'll complain about being tired.

We went to HHN on 10/31 as well. did IOA, went back to HRH to rest...then went back to park around 4:30...hung around jurassic park area.

did first house as well at 5:30 pm psycoscareapy. Felt that was the scariest house of all. Next did dive in minus my 12 year old son and me. we went and rode cat in the hat to get the willys out.

did do scream house revisitd. great scary house as well.

also liked jungle of doom.. people so inventive looking just like the jungle. all in all had a great night.

One note, my kids were rolling in the aisles over bill & ted show. DH & I just didn't get it. (omg, guess we are showing our age) and we didn't see all the hit 2003 movies this year as well...

anyhow, got back to hotel around 11:30...kids went to room, DH & I had a drink in Velvet Bar at hotel....what a great bunch of bartenders/servers there.

If your ever in vicinity, stop in, great bar, great drinks and servers extremely friendly
