HHI - Villa to Beach House?

How far is the beach house from the actual villas? And, how do you get there? Do you drive? Do they have a tram?

Is HHI difficult to get at the 7 month window for the summer time (2BDR)? What is the best month to visit Hilton Head?

I would estimate the distance to be about 1 mile. It is easiest if you drive your car over so you can carry coolers,beach balls,etc. Some people ride there bikes over

Summer months are the hardest to get at HH.It helps to have the 11 month window for June,July, and August.

They do have a trolley that runs frequently between the resort and the beach house. It stops running at 5:00 PM, though. We always drove because of all the stuff we carried with us.

You can also ride your bike to the beach. There's a path that goes under the highway and into Palmetto Dunes. We did that one morning just so we could ride bikes on the beach. Just make sure you go during low tide, or you'll be riding on the soft stuff! And it helps to have no wind, too.

There is a shuttle that runs from the front of the resort to the beach house and if you ride bikes, there is a bike path that runs under 278, so you don't have to worry about cars at the light. It is about a mile to the beach house.

Summer months are the most difficult to get, but there are more 2 bdrms than any other type, so you just never know. I would suggest calling right at the 7 mo window and be flexible on your dates, if possible.
