Does any one have any experience with the seafood buffet at HHI- Grouper's Restaurant in the Holiday Inn at Coligny Circle?

Any other suggestions for a seafood buffet dinner?

Can't help with the buffet, but we just got back from HHI, and we enjoyed a restaurant that is fairly new there. It was recommended by a man who lives on HH that I sat next to on the plane. It's called BoneFish Grill and was excellent. We always enjoy Captain's Seafood restaurant also. It's much more casual, but I love their fried oysters. Redfish was another good seafood choice for us.

I've never been there, but if you're going, pick up the Hilton Head Island Resturaunt Magazine (available outside lots of stores). It has a coupon for $2 off there. The only other seafood buffet I know of is Prescotts, near Sea Pines Circle, but I've never been there either.

The Barony Grill at the Westin has a seafood buffet. Haven't actually eaten there, but when we stayed there, we walked past it and it looked WONDERFUL!!! :goodvibes

Isn't Bonefish grill a chain (in same vein of ownership as Outback Restaurants, Carrabas Italian, etc.) ? I have heard it was good , but we never get new restaurants in our town, sadly. Heck, we can't even get a Target, Kohl's, Starbucks, Old Navy... better stop now, I could fill this whole thread! :guilty:

Speaking of the Outback / Bonefish connection, wonder if I could use Outback gift certs there... I know Olive Garden lets me use the Red Lobster gift cards there (or at Bahama Breeze or any other chains in that ownership line). I have about 4 or 5 certs ($25 each) for Outback that I could easily use. (There's some vacation buckage I could then redeploy elsewhere!)

I think Bonefish is part of a chain because there is one in Chattanooga, Tn. It really was good - we ate there twice in one week.

Bonefish is a chain restaurant and it is very good. It is part of the Outback group and you should be able to use your certificates there.
