On our next trip to HHI we've vowed to try some new (for us) resturants. Has anyone been to any of the following-
A Low Country Backyard (pretty new I think)
Skull Creek Boathouse
Main Street Cafe and Pub
Black Marlin
Any other resturants you'd recommend? I was checking reviews on tripadvisor today, and apparently we don't have the greatest taste-the above resturants were generally rated better than where we've been! We've been to Salty Dog, Sea Shack, Kenny B's, Roastfish and Cornbread, Hilton Head Diner, Signe's, It's Greek to Me, and Scott's Fish Market.
Also, for anyone who's been in April, would you recommend making reservations at resturants that take them. We go every November, never made reservations, and only had to wait once-at Sea Shack, which always has a line.

Tried a few new places last week:

Really enjoyed Low Country Backyard....two of us had BisChick, other the catch of the day grouper sandwich. Want to try breakfast/brunch next year.

Aunt Chiladas...great happy hour food in the bar...liked the wings more than Wild Wing Cafe.

San Miguels....good nachos (DH and I couldn't finish them all) DD had enchilada with rice and beans she enjoyed.....we were looking for a light meal.

Capt. Woody's second time we've tried it....I know it is a fav of some...won't be going back.

Tried and true:

Marley's Early Bird menu...probably 5th yr in a row.

Harold's...breakfast or lunch, both are great.

Last year, we enjoyed, but didn't get to this year:

Dye's
Roastfish & Cornbread
Signe's for breads & yummy dessert

Of course, everyone has a different opinion. A cast member at the resort recommended Frankie Bone's and Reilley's.

I was at the Skull Creek Boathouse a couple of months ago and will definitely be going back!

some of our favorites are - Hudsons on the Docks; Capt. Woody's; Catch 22 for the all you call eat crab legs; San Miguels; British Pub; and Red Fish.

We like San Miguels (Mexican) and Giuseppi's (Italian & good pizza) which are both close to the resort.

We loved Skull Creek Boathouse. We went 2x last year and will go at least 2x this year. The bread that they serve is so good. We tried to find a copycat recipe when we got home but no luck. I loved their Low Country boils. Lots and lots of food.
