I just had to share my excitement-we ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from Fresh Market yesterday, so the time is coming close. For 17 years we ordered a "Love Bird" (as it was called) from Signe's Bakery for dinner. It was a dinner for two. So when Signe retired a couple years ago, it was a real chore to find another place that did a take out dinner for a few people-most of them served 8-12. We finally decided on Fresh Market, who has meals for various sizes of participants, and they were very nice and patient answering questions. We've been with them ever since, and I highly recommend them for anyone spending Thanksgiving at Hilton Head and wanting to eat in your villa. Just one caveat-the meal doesn't include pie, so you need to get that!

We will come to HHI in the summer and plan to get bikes for the week

I’m not sure, but since wheelz is honoring the Disney price it seems like you’re covered either way

Recently stayed at Hilton Head in a studio and they now have real plates, cups and glasses plus flatware now. But no dishwasher, lol!

Oh that's awesome, I hope they switch to real dinnerware in the rest of the studios across DVC.

But not until I finish reducing my supply of coffee mugs at home. I have so many coffee mugs, and need to get rid of a few so I have a tradition that every trip to WDW I bring a mug (can't stand the styrofoam or cardboard cups they have) and then leave it there. I don't do that at HHI, since we always get a 1 BR there and are sure to have real mugs.

I don't like using paper cups either, especially for coffee. I much prefer a mug. When I had an owner's locker, I had a ceramic mug in there.

Disney is renting their own bikes again at DHHIR!

Dues for 2026 appear to be around $13 per point.

Dues for 2026 appear to be around $13 per point.

And the weather is beautiful for bike riding!

But I don't think I'll be thankful for my DHHIR points this Thanksgiving!

The verbiage in the box of the satellite photo says that only 1K feet a day will be restricted--the rest will be open to the public. Hopefully, that will allow folks to get out on the beach at least a bit!
