HHI - Online Check In

So we are due to check in on 5-26 but I haven't received an email for on line check in yet. Is it not 30 days out for Hilton Head? I had received an email a month or so back with details about the resort and saying to keep my eye out for another email closer to my arrival time - but it didn't give a date.

I believe it's only 10 days out for the beach resorts.

Good to know...When I google'd I came up with responses saying it was 60 days out and I knew that was right.

I have never used the online check in. Going to HHI May 25. What is the advantage of using online check in? Always check in at resort.

Looks like we will be there the same time! We've used it the last few times it was available at WDW. At WDW there are special lines for on line check in (so hopefully you don't have to wait as long) and everything is already to go for you. You can request a room location at the time of on line check in and put an expected arrival time, as well. I think since our last trip they are working on getting it to where you can get a text when your room is ready and go directly there. I'm not sure it really makes the process go faster, but I still do it.

Thanks for the reply! I'm sure at WDW it would save time. HHI never really a line at check in.
My son and some friends will be there for his college grad gift! Lots of golf for them!
