HHI June 7 - 12

Just got my reservation for HHI for June 7 - 12, 2009.

I am so looking forward to just relaxing on the beach. Now the countdown begins. Unfortunately I have tax season between me and my wonderful vacation.

Also rec'd the same dates in a 2br!! Can't wait!
We asked for the cash value for Fri night, but they can't give that until 7months from that date. Thought that was strange, but I will call back to check the cash amt to add a night.

How old are your kid(s). I have two girls 12 and 14. I know they are just going to love the teen activities they have at HHI.

I was taking my 12 year old to school this morning when I was making the reservation. She heard me talking and didn't realize I was on the phone with DVC. So when I got off the phone she asked me why I was making a hotel reservation. Of course her eyes just lit up when I told her it was for our summer DVC vacation.

DS is 7. We are taking my sister and family (nephews are 13&16). We totally loved our trip last year and can't wait for Jun.
DH did the calling this morning. I was in a class that started at 9am.

We are also going on June 7-13, and doing cash nights for Fri and Sat. MS quoted us a price of $355 + tax for a 2BR for 1 nite. That is with the discount...

Hope to see you there, we LOVE HHI!! It will be DW, DS20, DD15 with us with some friends of theirs I am sure....

Looks like we have an awesome bunch going that week. It will be nice to meet everyone in just a few short months.

That cash rate sounds awesome. I am almost tempted to book Friday night, but we are driving and will need to get back to Texas at some point.

This will be our 6th year going that week to HHI - my hubbie and daughter who will be 17. So looking forward to it!
