HHI - December Activities?

Hi All - I've been reading some of the HHI threads, but am looking at a long weekend there in December (14th-17th-ish). Was wondering what kind of activities occur that time of year as it looks like the BBQ and Low Country Boil might not be options.
Also, is the resort decorated for Christmas?

Any help/info from you HHI lovers would be very appreciated!

We just returned from the HHI resort Saturday nite and the resort is already well-decorated for Christmas (don't miss the Mickey wreath on the top floor of the main lodge). Also, the resort's got their Christmas carols playing. The regular resort activities at Community Hall occur-also, Beach Walk, walk around the resort, Pinckney Island, etc. And if I remember there are Santa activities at South Beach, hay rides in Sea Pines Forest Preserve, and I think Santa's over at the Shelter Cove Mall.

I'm glad to hear there are things happening in December! We're staying there for two nights this weekend on our way down to WDW.
