DH called this morning and had no problem at all securing us a 2BR and an efficiency for the last week in Sept into early Oct (Sun-Fri). We will be sharing the 2br with friends of his and their DD and the efficiency will be for his dad and stepmom. I plan on doing a lot of RELAXING that week and he plans on doing a lot of golfing! LOL!

Questions-- how do the rooms compare square footage wise to the BWV? (the only other 2BR we have ever stayed in). and whats the deal with the table in the main living area? From the drawing of the room layout it looks like it has 2 chairs and then a bench along the wall--is this right? I am hoping we can seat 4 at it!

Also--while I know that dining there is limited for Dinner, is there somplace on site for quick breakfasts? I imagine we will be eating in the room a lot since we are not big breakfast people to begin with but I know his dad can be.

I don't have the exact square footage in front of me, but I believe that the 2BR at HH is larger than BWV. Only OKW is larger than HH.

The table is a round table, with benches built along two walls in the back corner. You can easily seat one person on each side of the bench; more if they're younger and narrower in the hips. ;) The two chairs easily fit around the outer edges of the table, although you could probably squeeze in another chair or two from the second bedroom if you needed to. There is also a large picnic table on the porch, which will seat 8 with no problem. In September, you should be able to make use of it without being uncomfortable.

Tide Me Over at the resort has quick breakfasts, but limited hours. I think that at the slower times of the year, they don't open till 8 or 9 a.m.; if you're early birds, breakfast in your room or at a nearby restaurant will have to do.

For dinner, there are LOTS of restaurants on the island to try. Be sure to pick up the restaurant guide with all the menus to help you decide. At that time of the year, the crowds should be down considerably, so your waits won't be as long as if you went a month or so earlier.
