HHI August waitlist

Waitlisted at HHI studio a month or so ago for this August. I know summer is pretty tough to book there. Anyone have luck in the past getting their waitllist filled?

At the time, they had VB so I booked it and waitlisted HHI. But I'm a bit worried about VB and the oil spill by then.


Anyone have waitlist luck?

HH has only 21 Studios, so it is certainly a tough waitlist at this point.

I know it a smaller resort and very popular in the summer. Having never been, I'm not sure of the configuration. Would I be better to change the waitlist to a 1BD?

Well, there are the same number of 1BRs, so that won't make much difference except the waitlist might be a little shorter. You might have a better chance getting a 2BR, but those are likely all waitlisted too at this point.

If you want to go the last week of August, your chance may be a little better, but the first 2 weeks are still pretty much in demand. The resort is almost full right now and the studios are all occupied - and we're still a couple of weeks before the start of "busy" season.

Did you ended up getting it Gail?? I want to try August in a studio non-home resort, and would like to know.

No, we ended up going ahead with a week at VB... had a wonderful time! As Doc, noted, I thinks it's a tough wait list to get HHI in the summer months...
