HHI and DVC discounts

We are leaving for HHI in a few days
We booked a cash ressie, as sadly we do not have points here(BVW is home), and didn't think we would get anything in the summer at 7 months--truth be told, I have used and borrowed all points I have at the moment.
Can I still get the DVC discount price on activities, eg. Kyaking, kids crafts, etc. with my member card?
I think we will have to pay daily for internet, not staying on points, so is there an area that has free wi-fi in the resort?

Any other advice would be helpful.
Put in our room request__top floor, marsh view, earlier this week.

Can't wait to get there--curses 21 hour drive

We own at HH but book most of our ressies with the cash discount through member services. We have always gotten free internet and any other applicable dvc discounts.

If you reserved thru MS, you should get all member perks whether on points or cash. Regardless, there is free WiFi in Big Murgies Den - next to the front desk.

You can also get the business discounts that are available to DVC members, even if not staying at the resort. We've also gotten the discount in conjunction with other coupons and early birds every time it's come up.
